Ana ran back up the side of the hill to her grandmothers palace, she was soaking wet and her hair was a mess of curls. She snuck into her room and called on a maid to help her ready herself before her grandmother came into her room looking for her to be ready for the masquerade. The maids quickly placed her hair up with the two starfish that Ana had picked to place in her hair as they use to be her mother's and she always told her "starfish are suck ups but they never lie." Then Ana put her dress on just be fore her grandmother walked in. "Well my dear you don't look half bad." she told Ana. "Thank you Grandmother." she responded, as a maid walked over with her blue shoes for her to put on.
Once Ana had finished getting ready for the ball she walked out to her carriage that had been waiting for her. She climbed inside and waved to her grandmother as she left the palace. Ana was excited and nervous about going to the ball all at the same time. Ana sat patiently in the carriage as they made their way there. As they began to get closer the driver told her that her grandmother wanted him to remind Ana to be on her best behavior. He also told her that they would be arriving shortly.
Ana smiled as the carriage came to a halt and she saw the palace in which the ball was to be held. It was decorated with decorations and colors to represent every element. Ana was early as her grandmother never allowed to be late to any event and planned her schedule around her arrival time. Ana stepped out of the carriage and placed her mask on. She then walked into the ballroom where their were very few people in the room. She had been early again. She walked around the room till she found and empty table and sat down at it. {An I'm now off to work I'll be back in about 7 hours, bye.}

{Actually I wanted it to restart so that new people that just recently joined would be able to have a chance to meet everyone like we had the chance you could do the same things that you did in the last RP if you want or you could change things that was the point of restarting it.}

Ken yawned a bit. He was out working in the fields as usual when his mom ran up to him. "KEN!! You need to get ready for the ball tonight!" Sh said in a scolding voice. Ken groaned. "But I don't wanna go to some dumb ball." He whined a bit. "Ken, you promised that if I let you pick out your tuxedo and your mask you would go." His mother said getting annoyed. "But I was supposed to go with my sisters to the party for the harvest." He whined. "I know but this ball is important, you want to be a king right?" "Yeeesss." he answered in a dull tone. "Good then you have to go to this ball and meet a beautiful princess." His mother sad as she began to put on his blue tuxedo. He sighed and held his mask tight in his hands. After she put his tuxedo on she began to brush his shoulder length black hair.
After he was dressed Ken kissed his sisters goodbye after they wished him good luck and told him to find a hot girl. He smiled a bit and began to walk to the palace. He knew it would take a while to walk but since his current situation wouldn't allow for him to have a carriage so he was walking. Using his power he made the air around him cooler.
He smiled brightly when he saw the palace the ball was to be held in. At the same time he was trying to get rid of the buterflies in his stomach. He was so nervous he almost turned around to head back home. He walked into the palace amazed by what he saw. He wasn't used to such riches. He looked around at the few people in the room and decided to sit at a tale by himself. He pondered abtout how to introduce himself. The prince of Ice? or mabey just Ken Toshihiro? He was so nervous about it it was getting hard for him to breath. Hopefully no one would talk to him and he wouldn't have to introduce himself at all. [Just to let yall know, if ya didn't read her post in the welcome forum I will be moderating for this thread. I have been told to inforce the every 20 pages is a day rule as much as possible. ( Ok. well I suppose we start over again. You still want our characters to meet up right Yuki?)
Misty finished getting ready and walked over to the window and looked out and took a deep breath. The white snow shimmered on the ground of her ice castle. A soft knock on the door made her turn around. " Come in." Misty's father came in and smiled seeing her dressed up," You look lovely sweetie. Are you ready?" Misty nodded and smiled softly," I'm a little nervous." Her father walked over and smiled kissing her forehead," Don't worry everything will be just fine. Your going to have a lovely time and maybe even meet someone special." He winked at her. Misty laughed softly and patted him on the shoulder," Daddy." He laughed and picked up Misty's tiara placing it gently on her forehead. The ice gems sparkled in the light. Come on you better hurry before your late." Misty smiled and kissed him on the cheek before walking out with him to the carriage. The four white horses waited patiently and soon pulled off with Misty towards the ball. It wasn't long before she found her self looking out over the place the ball was.

((Oh. My bad. Lol. OH! Jewel That would be most excellent. ^^))
Mitsu seated herself on her favorite chair as her older brother came in and seated himself next to her. The two exchanged glances before their father and mother came in. "Ah! I see you two have beaten us here." their father spoke and Mitsu smiled with a slight nod. She all ways felt like the odd man out in the family. While she lived in the kingdom of Shadows, Mitsu only held the power of the wind while the rest of the royal family had the power of shadows. It was hard when she was younger, but now that she was older, everything seemed all right.
Rie, the oldest of the two listened as their parents continued on how proud they were of them and that it was time to be sent off into the world and find a soul mate. He sighed and looked away. "Another ball? To think mom and dad wanted us away so bad." he thought before they were sent upstairs.
Mitsu was changed first, into a long white ball gown and her mask on. She waited down stairs for her brother and when he came the two left in their carriage off to teh ball. It was all ways such a drag to go to these balls, but Rie all ways seemed to have fun.

Ryu was getting ready for the ball, under the supervision of his relatives. He glared at them, not wanting to go to the ball. "Come on Ryu. It could be fun," his aunt said. "I still don't want to go," answered Ryu. "Well too bad. Do something besides travelling all over the place," she said. Ryu just shook his head, while he was getting ready. Pretty soon, he was ready to go. He slipped on his mask and was soon headed out of his place. He hopped into the carriage and headed towards the ball.
Ryu arrived at the palace and got out of the carriage. He walked towards the doors and walked into the place. He sighed, knowing there was no way he was going to go back now. He would have to endure it. He looked around the place, seeing if there was anyone he could talk too, even though he noticed that he was early. Ryu walked down the stairs and into the ballroom, his gaze looking around the place.

Ken looked around the ball room seeing people enter. He got more nervous as there were more people who might engage him in a conversation. He still wasn't sure how to introduce himself. Should I not even say I'm a prince? or mabey I should say that I am a prince." He thought to himself. It was all so confusing. He had never been to a ball before so he at as at a table in a corner hoping no one would talk to him. If he could get through the ball without engaging in any conversations he could tell his mom that he went but still not meet a princess. He ha never been good with talking to girls so he did not want to engage in a conversation and make himself look dumb or embaress himself.
He was looking down at his tuxedo. He thought it looked great when he picked it out, but now that he was at the ball and saw what everyone else was wearing he thought everyone would think it was dorky and childish. He stayed looking down to avoid eye contact with all the other princes and princesses. He felt his face and remembered the mask he had over it. He felt a little better knowing his face was covered.

X checkedover his equipment one more time to make sure everything was in order. Satisfied, he walked to the cracked window of his run-down safehouse. In the grey distance, he could make out the castle where the ball would be held. He put his pistols in their holders, and hid knives over various parts of his body. Feeling fully prepared for the ball, he put on his coat and hat, and put his mask in his pocket.
X walked down the rotting steps of the building and stepped outside into the grey mists outside. Waiting outside was an elaborate coach to take him to the ball, as he arranged. The man driving worked for him. He stepped inside and sat down, folding his hands together. "Let's go" he said to the driver. As the coach started to go, X reflected upon how interesting this contract would be. It should be quite the event he surmised.

Mitsu exited the carriage first and did not wait for her brother to follow, the two ever hardly entered together. She had her mask on all ready and headed straight in and directly towards the drinks. She wasn't one for balls and on first chance she was going to forget it with red wine. She grabbed a glass and took careful sips.
Rie exited the carriage after a few minutes and held his mask in his hand. He hated to dress up for such things, but if it was neccessary, he would do so. He pulled on the mask and entered the castle. He saw his younger sister and sighed. Must she all ways drink at these social gatherings? He moved steadily towards the side and took a grape before ploping it in his mouth.

Nicolas took a deep breath as he pulled on his formal jacket. He like the clothes just fine but he was not looking forward to going to the ball. He had his hopes up when his mother came to spend time with him just to find out she wanted him to go to this ball. He found out the real reason later was to find him a nice girl to settle down with instead of him running around with his dragon. She felt a prince should be proper and not do such things. She won the argument and had to go. Grabbing his mask off the dresser he headed outside. A quick goodbye to his parents and he climbed into the carriage pulled by a large black dragon. Putting on the mask they took off into the night towards the place of the ball. Nicolas looked out the window and saw they were making good time and could see the castle.
Misty took a deep breath and stepped out. Putting on her mask she headed up the steps. Glad she wasn't late she opened the doors and walked inside. She saw a few had arrived already. " Easy Misty just take a deep breath and everything will be just fine." She told her self. Taking the breath she walked down the stairs. She stayed away from the dance floor suddenly feeling shy.
