Mere Christianity - C.S. Lewis It is a book about when he was trying to disprove Christianity. He uses logic and science at first to show how he was, then how it turned and proved just the opposite. It is an account of his thoughts and feelings at first twords religion.
The Measure of a Lady This book is about a 19th centry Christian girl who went to San Fransisco to get rich with her two siblings and her father. Their father died on the way, and being one of the few single girls there, and the only decent Christian one... how she has to take care of her family, get along with everyone in town, support them and stand up for her faith at such a young age.

Here's some good ones that I've discovered via Bible studies:
Knowing God by J. I. Packer (current study)
The Truth War by John MacArthur
Celebration of Discipline by Richard J. Foster
As far as fiction goes
The Seven Sleeper Series by Gilbert Morris and The Dragons in Our Midst Series by Bryan Davis are both amazing.
I also like the Squire's Tales series by Gerald Morris - they're really fun remakes of the authurian legends. smile

Anything by Jane Austen. The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy series... VERY VERY funny. The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan... may he rest in peace. Terry Goodkinds Sword of Truth series. Gregory McGuire's Wicked and others. A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray, and the following books. C. S. Lewis and his Chronicles of Narnia. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. Tolkiens Lord of the Rings And Funkes Inkspell, and Inkdeath, and the conclusion when it comes out.

hey, mazuac. i followed the link in your sig. For Christian lit. Fiction Books By C.S. Lewis including the Screwtape Letters, his scifi trilogy (yes, he did scifi, Out of the Silent Planet, Paralandra, and That Hideous Strength), and The Great Divorce (my personal favorite) Lilith and Phantastes by George McDonald are both great! Lewis talks about McDonald a lot and accredits him as being like a literary father to him. Israel, My Beloved by Kay Arthur. This book isn't necessarily pg13 but it's an awesome read. It goes through the history of Israel as a woman in the novel. Evidence That Demands a Verdict by Lee Strobel. Basic apologetics.

definitely Left Behind Series and all of the prequel and follow-up books by Tim Lahaye and Jerry Jenkins, as well as the Babylon Rising Series by Tim LaHaye and Greg Dinallo
Sierra Jensen series as well as the Christy Miller series by Robin Jones Gunn
What Ive read of the Perry Skky, Jr. series by Stephanie Perry Moore is really good.
They're all christian series, but the last two are definitely written for generally teen audience...doesn't mean no one else can read them.

tassan why you haven't stated the author of bible? Well, because many different human authors make up the context of the Bible~ However, I suppose I could say it was by God. *shrugs* The Bible has a lot of Authors, from Moses to Paul, from King David to Matthew~ So... I felt I should just have "Bible" up there ^^

Brandon Sanderson, author of Elantris, which is already up there, has some new stuff which I am now slightly addicted to. I don't want to put it down. The first book is called Mistborn and the second is The Well of Ascension. and they are both fiction.
By the way, you spelled Jane Austen's name wrong. it's an e not an i . sorry to point that out, but that kind of stuff bothers me...kinda like words to be spelled correctly, unless it's on purpose for a specific reason. I'm especially get that way if it's titles or names. again, sorry.
