CrystallizedCorruption Captain

Just outside of the Crystallized Bloody Impervious City, there is a dense forest. The forest is most easily accessed from the dirt trail. When you first enter the forest, the trees are separated evenly, giving people wandering into the woods, much room to walk around. When you get deeper into the forest, the trees become more thick, making it harder to walk. The grounds are littered with many roots and small plant life. The sun barely creeps it's way through the leaves of the trees. There are coyotes found within the forest, but they usually don't get riled up enough to attack anyone adventuring into the forest. Also, within the forest are monsters. They are extremely weak and give people good practice whenever people are searching to train. Located near the center of the forest is large lake. Standing up straight within the lake, is a large boulder. Many rumors have been passed around about this boulder, but none of them ever seem to be factual.

Eliza pulled her over to a dense outcrop of foliage, sitting down and patting the ground across from her to sit down. Her hands had become shakier as time passed but looked at Bell as she took off her jacket. She was wearing long sleeves to hide the scars on the inside crevass of her elbow. She rolled up her sleeves, the scars now visible. She waited for Bell to sit as she shakily opened up a secret pocket in her jacket and pulled out a spoon and a small vial of water, glad that it wasn't crushed.

I wanna say nice things about you... Bell noticed Eliza's shaking worse and began to get worried about her. She didn't let the worry show up on her face, as she sat across from Eliza's on a tree root. Bell watched with a small hint of interest, seeing Eliza take off her jacket, rolling back the sleeves to reveal scars. Bell was now worried, and a small hint of it was now showing on her face. She tried to hide it, but to no avail, the worry was still on her face. Bell watched in curiousity as Eliza pulled out a spoon and a small vial of water, still not talking until Eliza said something....But I just can't find anything nice about you to say

Eliza took out the seran-wrapped package that the man had given her earlier. She poured a small amount of water on the spoon, laying it on one of her legs so that she wouldn't spill it. She opened the package, pinching a bit of the substance until it mingled with the water. She took the lighter from her purse and heated it up until it became a syrupy liquid. She glanced at Bell, more guilt choking her as she took a needle from another secret compartment in her purse. She sipped up the serum with the point, her hands steady at this meticulous process. She put the spoon in her mouth to get rid of any of the serum that didn't get picked up, licking her lips. She took an elastic band from her purse as well and fixed it on her right arm. The shoulders on her shirt revieled the sliver of a tattoo on her left arm as she anxiousluy held the needle. She flicked it a few times before lowering it to one of the scars. It was only after injecting the serum into her arm, did she speak. "Do you know what this is, Bell?" she muttered, her eyes downcast with shame as she removed the thin point from her arm. She closed her eyes as her arm felt heavy and her mind soon eased.

I wanna say nice things about you... Bell watch in a small bit of horror as Eliza began to do what she did. She could tell by how easily Eliza did it, that she had done this many times before. Bell's eyes flicked with a small sadness, but then it quickly disappeared. Bell still watched Eliza, a little amazed at what she was doing, and then anger seemed to flare up underneath her. She nodded quickly to Eliza's question, "Yes, yes, I know exactly what that is. And, I would like you to try to stop what you are doing. I'm sure you know as well as myself that you are killing yourself." Even though Bell was angry, no anger was found in her voice. Extreme kindness and worry was found in what she had said. Eliza was one of Bell's only friends and she wasn't ready to lose her over an addiction. Bell quickly moved one of her hands onto to Eliza's knee, looking her deeply into the eyes....But I just can't find anything nice about you to say

Eliza looked up at Bell, her eyes sparkling with a luster than the skittish francticness that they once possessed. "People say that life is short. But those people are either lying or just really, really ******** up. Life is very, very long, Bell. And me? Living for an eternity in an empty existance?" She laughed at herself, her own sick logic of this human addiction starting to have it's human side effects. "Why do you think I work at a strip club, dearie? Do you think it's because I like myself so much? Here's a fun fact for you, Bell." She smiled, removing the rubber band from her arm. "How many time do you think I've been molested in my lifetime?" She held up ten fingers and slowly dropped it down until it ended up to be seven. She laughed more. "And all by different men. Ha...and I was human then too...and I forgot all of it with just a few pills while it happened. But him." She shook her head, giggling. "He gave me something even better to make the pain and the time go away faster." She picked up the brown package and stared at it hungrily. "But not too much at once... no more than twice a day." She clutched it in her hand, starting to sway in laughter but soon evolved into a collapse of tears.

I wanna say nice things about you... Bell listened to Eliza's story, through all of her laughing, a small pinch of anger growing. This time she had control, didn't let the anger show through her eyes. She didn't even let it show through her body movements. Bell crossed her legs, sitting calmly on the root of the tree. She listened to Eliza's story, nodding, "Eliza, what happened to you, that isn't your fault. There are just truly evil people within this world. With this," she pointed to the package, "it will only take that pain away for just a small time." Bell saw Eliza begin to cry, and she moved from her root, sitting next to Eliza. She patted her on the back slightly, and Bell then pulled Eliza into a comforting hug....But I just can't find anything nice about you to say

Eliza hugged her back, whimpering, "But isn't that better than nothing...?" She looked up at her. "Right?" Eliza sat back up and faced her. "I can't help it though..." She could feel the disapointment and anger emitting Bell's aura. "I've tried to stop...but Aladdin just keeps coming to give me a fix. Just so that I can ride on the magic carpet to a whole new world. Or at least that's what he told me." She tried to stop herself from crying. "Living with no purpose is the same as dying." She wiped her eyes again, trailing her fingers along the scars. "And right now...dying seems like paradise." The vampire looked up past her to the stars, twinkling and shining at them through the foliage of the trees. The gentle breeze brushed against her face, sighing slightly as the dizzying effects made her seem lighter. The stars blurred and the breeze intesified as she lay down on the ground to stare at them. She touched her shoulder, three tattoos to three stars going largest ot smallest on her arm towards her elbow. "I could die and become a star, in paradise," she whispered incoherently to herself.

I wanna say nice things about you... Bell listened to her story about some man named Aladdin. She frowned slightly at this badgering man, "Well, next time he comes around for your next fix, I will be there. I don't think you will be getting that fix, even if you might want it." Bell said calmly and cooly to Eliza. Bell shook her head slightly, still looking at Eliza, "Eliza, people get up and move because they feel they have no purpose. You moved her searching for a new purpose. I think you have a purpose here now. Don't you agree?" Bell said, shimmering a smile towards Eliza. Bell felt a small breeze make it's way through the trees, and she laid her head back against the tree she now sat by. Bell kept her eye on Eliza, as she shifted to laying down, and Bell noticed the tattoos on Eliza's shoulder. Bell still looked worriedly at Eliza, hearing what she said, but not saying anything to her comment....But I just can't find anything nice about you to say

Eliza closed her eyes and hummed a nameless tune. "And what would my purpose be now, Bell? My life has been one screw up after another...I hoped that this town would be better. I met Jason and it was good until he tried to kill me. He knew that I should die too. I'm done looking for a new purpose...when I can only find my strength in this magic." She let the silence deepen as the sounds of the night soothed her. After a short while she sat up, not caring to pick the shards of dirt that had clung to her once shiny blonde hair. Realizing all that she at said to her dear friend, she looked down, muttering like a guiltly kid, "I hope you keep your promise...of not telling anybody. It's just gonna be our secret, okay?" She looked up at Bell, smiling weakly.

Blaine soon shifted his way through the forest, it was a distance away from where Bell and Eliza were, but his identity could be mistaken for an animal of the night. He looked up at the stars, he was thinking of how close him and Eliza were before he was dragged from that shore on they island, how he just disappeared for who knows how long. He didn't know who would just take him like that, but they did something. His tattoo burned a lot more and it was a lot longer and it expanded along his chest.

I wanna say nice things about you... Bell looked at Eliza, "Well, everyone has a certain purpose. You came here for a reason, trying to find an escape. You will probably find one, sooner or later. I came to this town because I had to hunt down Karen. If someone ever starts to bother you again, come and find me, ok? I'll be sure to protect you, no matter what." Bell said smiling towards Eliza, then felt a presence enter the forest. It was a far distance from them, but Bell could tell that it was Blaine. Bell looked back to Eliza, noticing she had sat up. Bell nodded, "Yes, I will keep this promise, just bewteen the two of us," she said softly to Eliza. Bell then looked a little more serious, "Well, Blaine has entered the forest. He isn't close to us yet, but should we hide or something just in case?"...But I just can't find anything nice about you to say

Eliza wanted to hide, shaking her head. "He came looking for us...but even if he tried to drag us off I'm not going without a fight." Although she didn't stand up right away, she looked slightly scared as she rolled down her sleeve to cover the scars again also grabbing her jacket and putting that on. She made sure that everything was back into her purse, pretending that her and Bell were just having a normal conversation as she fluffed out her hair and smiled weakly with a fake confidence.

Blaine leaned against a tree, his intentions weren't to drag anyone off, he just wanted to be alone and test his limits. Every step he went deeper into the forest and farther from the sea, it made his heart ache sharply. He didn't understand what was going on. The curse was getting stronger, he needed to be able to control it. He didn't want to be stuck at sea forever when it comes to the worst of it all.

I wanna say nice things about you... Bell chuckled slightly at Eliza, "You are probably right. He is just so worried about you. But, maybe you need some space, I wonder if he ever thought about that?" Bell chuckled again, nodding to Eliza. She crossed her arms, stood, and leaned against the tree. "Well, I don't think he will be trying to drag you anyone away." Bell chuckled one last time, and then seemed to cover-up their earlier conversatin. She flicked her bangs out of her eyes, "Well, have you found a place to stay here? Have you even found a job yet?" Bell asked Eliza, acting as if this was what they were talking about the whole time....But I just can't find anything nice about you to say
