I'm planning on running a 4.0 DnD campaign, and I was wondering if anyone had the books willing to play. I don't have it completely ready yet, but when I get it done, I'll be wanting to try it. This will be my first attempt at DMing and creating a campaign, though I have a basis for a campaign I'm going to alter to suit my purposes.

There is a DnD 4.0 book floating between some of us... I think I rather disdain the new 'style,' but I'll probably try it to at least see the new run style. I feel it is over-simplified though.

It is simplified a lot, but I feel it would make a good ground base for new players. Like me. I have a good general outline for the plot and history. I love the new entry of the Dragonborn race though heart

My friend has all the books, so I'll join if you need extra players.

Alright then. That's two people so far. I'm shooting for five but I can make due with four.

If I can get a hold of a 4th ed book, count me in. I might complain a lot about how World of Warcraft-y it is (I like all pointless errata in 3.5. It lets me break the system in interesting ways,) but I'm willing to give it a chance. In the name of progress and all that.

Cool, so that's three. If anyone wants, they can create the character now and post it here.

The important thing about DnD 4.0 is the monsters are powerful enough to make 30 levels out of a campaign instead of 20. 20 is a little short for a multiclassing maniac. That said I do find the system a bit restrictive. but count me in.

By the way, do you want character histories?

Sorry I took so long, school started up and I've been fairly busy.
Yes, I want histories. You're rather free for creating histories, and I'll veto something if I really don't like it but I don't think I'll have to do that.
