I thought I would make a thread for members to showcase costumes, fashions, and cosplay that don't directly relate to Hellsing.
I have a few pics I'd love to share with others, but I'm being hounded by my mother to go put together some Ikea stuff, so I'll post them, later. wink

I hear you Suni smile I shall share some of my Gothic Lolita outfits, full of lovely hats and giant heels xd This was 4 days ago in my garden. I made that top. I am wearing 2 skirts under the dress to add volume. The dress is from Lip Service. I made this tiny top hat. It has a cross and pearls. My gran gave me this pin for my birthday. It's from the 50s. My Japanese parasol, which got destroyes by the rain two days ago crying I can't remember if this parasol was made by my father...It's kinda old. This is me at London 2 days ago. I'm wearing more Gothic Lolita and a lovely vintage Victorian hat. You've all seen the lovely vintage outfit that I wore for my birthday, but here are the sleves. This is me at my friends action figure and Star Wars store in which I help at the weekends. My outfit is more Edwardian cavalry inspired. I couldn't resist... Jesus Christ I found a snazzy picture that my dad took when I was 15!! Me in my betroom in Cuba...quite emo... gonk Gosh, I haven't changed much in 3 years...scary. I'll post some more Gothic Lolita fashion pictures and some of my Victorian gowns and corsets soon smile

My mom has a saying "As long as you don't expose anything that needs to be covered up by a swim suit, then you can't go overboard." (Vulgar I know, but that's my mom for ya xd ). I agree though for the most part, if you wear something that looks cute on you, then you shouldn't feel shy or ashamed. Yeah you attract perverts, but then they're attracted to pretty girls the way moths are attracted to flames. What can you do? xd

Thank you for posting. heart ..You know, you'd look really adorable in some fullblown steam punk clothes. 3nodding Heh...hahah.... I had written a really long response about how people on the street respond to Gren and I when we dress up and go shopping and crap but... my browser froze, and my response went buh-bye. scream ...So let's just say that we've been whistled at, and called "Creepy" by various people. rolleyes Anyway, now I'm posting crap. no, srs, it's crap....So yeah, I just feel like showing a bit of how I dress daily. xd Sooo... Yeah, here's just a tiny bit of what I wore today. xp I lyke stripes. I lyke them good. Okay, so, enough of all that ME crap... Cosplay time. xd xd Apart from Hellsing cosplay, I have one other cosplay... I cosplay Jizabel Disraeli, from Gochild/Cain Saga/Count Cain/Earl Cain/WHATEVER THE BLOOD HELL YOU WANT TO CALL IT. xp xd ...My camera hates this cosplay. It does. Every time I take a picture it turns blurry, or it gives me curves I shouldn't have, etc. It's rather annoying. I bind, I dress, I examine myself in the mirror to make sure I look relatively flat everywhere and.... BAM! I take a picture, and my female assets return and I'm all "WTF, THOSE WHEREN'T THERE IN THE MIRROR!!" gonk Anyway... Yeah. *points up* I have so many crack captions for that picture, it isn't even funny. burning_eyes Okay, time for me to run and get outta here....

Thank you Ace.
Suni you’re so pretty I like the cosplay, I like the wig a lot.
Have you ever thought of playing Muraki from Yami no Matsuei?? He reminds me of Jizabel a lot.
I did a Mary Weather cosplay once…I have to do one again for this thread. I don’t have a lot of chest problems when I cosplay. When I want to be entirely flat chested I tightly wrap a cloth around my chest. It gets results but you have to bare the lung crushing sensation…
Again, you look really good Suni. You are great at matching colour, and I have that top you’re wearing in purple!!! Do you have anymore pictures of Jizabel wearing the white medical outfit??

That's a very pretty cosplay Suni! 3nodding I can't say I know exactly who "Jizabel Disraeli" is, because I've never read the Godchild/Cain/whatever series (Give me a break, I'm broke! crying I can't afford another manga series without free-reading! WAH! gonk ), but I did look at a bunch of pictures online and you do look spectacular! 3nodding Better than most cosplayers out there and certainly very close to the actual piece of ink on paper Jizabel Disraeli. 3nodding You did such a great job! Well done! biggrin

Thanks guys. ^_^ I HIGHLY recommend Cain Saga and Godchild, Shadow, and if you're broke, you can check Onemanga, they had it on their site last I checked. >.< I know you don't like downloading, reading online, etc, but.... It's a very good read.
As for medical garb, Dita... At the moment, I do not.
That lil' photo spree I went on when I took the first picture is the only one with the coat and everything, all other photo's turned out terrible. X_X
I'm probably not going to mess around with the coat until I have the belt and all the way it should be, the coats a little annoying... very annoying and difficult thing to work with...
I'm going to be doing soooo many variations on this when I have the time.
I usually bind with Ace bandages. I can get totally flat with those, but that vest of mine is a little bit fitted. So basically I need to get a mens vest before I can take this cosplay seriously.
Well, what I really look forward to is using the open shirt tape binding method eventually, so I can pull off a kimono.... buuuut that's after I lose some weight. xd
Wheeeeee. whee
There are these long silver strands of hair over everything I own, and I can't figure out where they're coming from. xd
....and I need more props.... I need organs.... I need scalpelsthose butterknives aren't cuttin' it, I need... I need better animals. xd
*glares at all five of my cats* CAN'T YOU STAY STILL SO I CAN CUDDLE?!?! xd
---
Anyway, I HAVE thought about being Muraki, only thing is, my friend Gren HATES Muraki with a burning passion, and would freak if I cosplayed him.
xd
Funny thing is, when she read the first volume of Godchild, THIS happened
Gren: "OMG, He's Muraki. He's just like frickin' Muraki" Me: "Nooo... He's not." Gren: "Yes, HE IS. OMG, He's deranged, he seems to be after Cain for pointless reasons-" Me: "You haven't read far enough, he's nothing like-" Gren: "-eyeballs! He wants his frickin' eyeballs, it's almost as bad as-" Me: "He's not-" Gren: "LOOOOOKKKK!! *pulls out Scoldsbride pt. 2 cover page* ..Does this not look frickin' familiar?!" Me: "Yes, yes, it does. rofl " Gren: "Murakiiii! Dx" Me: "He's not like Muraki, I mean... come on." Gren: "He is too!" Me: "...Nooo, Jizabel likes animals, Cain's eyes, and scalpels, Muraki likes dolls, raping things, and scalpels...See the subtle differences here?" Gren: " rofl "
....And so on, for the next 2 minutes. Keep in mind that Gren read all of Godchild in a single day, while I beat Kingdom Hearts for her. Through the whole day her feelings for Jizabel changed from hatred, to minor dislike, to "yeah, he's okay. xp "
rolleyes
Good times, good times.

rofl That’s great! Why doesn't she dislike Muraki?? stare
*looks at pictures* Suni what weight is there to lose? Don’t be a girl now
I just thought that the wig would go well with a Gunter from Kyo kara Maoh cosplay. I was sucked into that anime on false pretenses!! They promised yaoi!!! There was just a bunch of bishonen running around with swords!! Not alot of shonen-ai either!! I watched 70 something episodes just to see if the yaoi would come, but it did not. Why!? Why would they lie to me!? gonk
I still think that you’d look great as Muraki.

I know, right? How can anyone dislike Muraki? I love him, well, okay, it's a sort of love/hate thing, but I do like him. >.<
Gren hates him because he's off to destroy Hisoka and Tsuzuki's lives, and there love, blah, blah, blah.
Gren hates a number of characters, but the ones she hates the most are... #3. Alexis (Gochild, o' course) #2. Muraki...
..and #1 place goes toooo.... Hojo, from FF7. Oh, she loaths Hojo.
Now GUNTER would be a fun cosplay. I love Gunter. XD That wig can be so many things with the proper styling, I could probably get Abel Nightroad out of it, and Bondage!card aswell.
I don't really have.... well...Not really weight to lose, I'm just abit too flabby for that. xp Flab... Blah.

I don’t like Hisoka. I just don’t, after all that happened in his life, you’d think that he’s be more mature but this is not the case. rolleyes Sorry about that. sweatdrop Maybe I’ve been reading way too much yaoi and I automatically think that a victim should fall for their rapist…Yes Abel!

Some very nice outfits I must say! I've always wanted to try out Lolita, but I come from a poor background, and spending money on those kinds of clothes (or even putting the time in to sew them) is sort of...well, stupid to my family. After spending years on foodstamps and living paycheck to paycheck, I just can't tramp around in that kind of stuff. I'm very fortunate that I can indulge in my history passions every so often. I have enough pieces of random clothing that I can put together to make a semi-lolita outfit for whenever I need it.
It's neat that you can dress like that daily Suni. wink
