Catchy title no? Ok so, this is a basic list of a few of the most common accusations against the left. I say the left because I plan on expanding this to also include anarchists as well as socialists and communists, if any anarchists want to give suggestions for questions and answers to said questions please do, if not then I'll make a post about it in the Anarchist guild. So, this list is not meant to be set in stone, and should be debated, having said this I need to throw down some ground rules...
RULES-
1) This thread is for questions, not answers, debate the importance of questions and whether ones should be added, subtracted, edited for meaning or edited for wording (edited in any way really), or changed in any fashion. DO NOT DEBATE ANSWERS IN THIS THREAD, that's for another thread.
2) Keep it civil, I said debate, not argument, not bashing each other's heads in with text. Be nice (I'm not expecting this to be a problem here so much as the answers thread, but might as well cover all the bases). Aaand those are the only rules I can think of here. Oh right...
3) Be specific please, if you want something changed, include the question's number and the question itself.
4) Just something to think about more then a rule- keep it simple. Questions that are worded to sound like Marx wrote them are useless here, keep it simple short and sweet as well as realistic, use complaints you've had told to you!
And without further ado, the list itself (all questions subject to change)-
1) Communism is a good idea on paper but it doesn't work in reality.
2) Human nature bars communism from ever working.
3) Communism will always become corrupted, no matter what.
4) Communism destroys people's individuality.
5) Society needs things like laws to protect people.
6) Order will always be neccesary to keep people from committing crimes and hurting each other.
7) Communism keeps people from being able to have what they want.
cool What's so bad about consumerism anyway?
9) Greed has and will always be inherant in humanity.
10) Communism's never worked before, proving that it can't ever work.
11) Communism doesn't allow for personal freedom.
12) If people have worked hard to become rich, why should they have to give their extra money to the poor?

You forgot "communism requires one leader who is uncorruptable" or some similar nonsense - this is for the kiddies that are told that communism requires 1 all powerful emperor-like figure.

Here are a few of mine, forgive me if any are on your list, I read it but I've forgotten already... redface
Communism is totalitarianism.
Communism means the government is taking things from me (as opposed to you taking the product of your work for yourself)
Communism will make everyone poor
Communism can't work because it failed with Russia and China
Anarchism means we'll be taken back to tribalism
Anarchism and communism can't go together
Communists don't believe in God and want to kill him (sic)
Communists want to come in our house and take our stuff
The poor are lazy and deserve what they get
Rich people deserve what they get
