Basic flies by. Really. It seems like forever, but its just not. Out of AIT, Basic, and whats going on now, the worst is now. In Basic and AIT I knew he couldn't talk to me every day and that I couldn't see him. Now, with him stationed and me not there yet, its just pure agony.
Perhaps its just me.
I wrote my boyfriend husband everyday and that really helped. I almost sent him a package, but fear of the drill sergeant going ape-s**t over something stopped me.

I'm in the process of figuring out what my 'habits' will be like some women make paperchains and take one off each day, or transfer a marble from one jar to another.

Yeah? I'm constantly bored without her... my habit is to write her a letter everyday and then mark off what day that letter is written and send it to her.

I actually do really long letters. Like I take a notebook and completely fill it then send it to him ( I actually did this with my ex, not my husband, but I will do it with Tony too)
Lol I'm bored with Tony here, jk, we just don't do much.

I'd give anything to have her here with me... even if it was just to lie around all day and do nothing... I miss her...
First letter I sent her was ten pages long...

Mine is back on the deployment train. :/ First he isn't, then he is, then not until May, now in September.
The paper chain would be cool. But I think I would focus too much on it. Plus, think of how many times you're going to need to add more links to it. I think it would make me depressed.
I think I'm going to make a cupcake and take a picture of it daily and send them to him at the end of the week. It sounds kinda goofy, but my hubby will understand.
Shin, Don't expect to get on base soon. I was supposed to be on base with my husband about 2 months ago. Still hasn't happened.
Exotic - When did he have time to read them?! Holy Bejebus! You could make a entire story. I did a comic for him of my daily activities for a month. It was fun and he thought it was hilarious, especially when I beamed myself to his base and fought the evil bullshark drill sergeants and took their hats.

Don't worry too much about the september thing, they don't even have their orders yet (watch me have to eat my words on this), but the rumors are that the earliest they can go is Oct 5th. I'm including your hubby the medic in when my hubby is going, since pretty much 2/3 of post is going, though they are leaving behind a big group of infantry so there is still protection up here lol. anyways, I don't know if the guy ever read it, he had a tendency to not talk to me for a couple of weeks at a time, and by the time he contacted me next i was already pissed at him for not calling to make sure my surgery went ok, then I heard he had another girlfriend. anyways, thats long story.
