Lives in: Salig on the top flat of the three-story structure that houses The Hornblower's Bakery. Offers room and board for employees.
History: Deet never particularly knew his parents. He knows he probably has a pair out there some where, but he doesn't seem too preoccupied about them. The only things he knows about them is that they more than likely lived in Salig, thus why he believes he was born there, and that they were probably rather large themselves. Besides that he doesn't really know and doesn't really care.
Deet was raised in an orphanage that wasn't particularly terrible nor was it a luxury resort. Around the age of 16 he got a job at a nearby bakery as a a delivery boy. He eventually started working full-time as an apprentice, until he was about 22 when he finally left the bakery to open his own in a rather sleepy part of Salig thanks to a nice donation from the baker he apprenticed under and some help from the orphanage.
Personality: Deet is a very warm, caring man willing to go out of his way to help some one else. He also has a soft-spot for things tinier than him, which pretty much means he has a soft spot for pretty much every thing. He's not exactly "bright" but isn't a complete idiot: He's just simple. He isn't completely concerned about how much cash the Horn Blower's Bakery makes: his passion lies in his food, both in its creation and in its consumption.
