Did you enjoy this book more than Homeland? Who did you like most? Least? What did you think how the series would progress?

I really loved Homeland, especially because you're introduced to the Underdark and get to know the weird world of the Dark Elfs... but Exile was so facinating, too! I'm afraid I could never decide, but I have to admit I liked the storyline in the Underdark even more than in Icewind Dale wink Belwar is a cool character and I really really cried when clacker died gonk

The whole concept of the Underdark really interested me. I like how in the Dark Elf Trilogy, Drizzt is a young adult. He makes mistakes and still is naive compared to further on in the series.
Belwar and Clacker. I enjoyed both characters. I enjoyed reading and learning about the Duegars. (spelling error I know)

I LOVED the Dark Elf Trilogy! And I really didn't realize how dark it was until Cattibrie went to the Underdark way later in the book series, because the dark elves have such subtle nuances that they "see" all of the time, without the magic eyesight it was just black... kind of like her eyes were shut.

I enjoyed the Dark Elf Trilogy as a whole more than the others that I've gone through (I can't find ANYWHERE the books I'm missing). I think the only one that comes close as a good second is Legacy of The Drow. It was however bits of the end of Exile that I read for my forensics piece. It was pretty bad a**.

I liked how the Drow were sort of regal. Sadistically regal, but regal nonetheless. Starkind made an excellent point about the Underdark. ^_^

I fell in love with the exile book because you really get to see Drizzt's other side the 'Hunter' I mean that was totally badass when Drizzt was going through the pack of birds beating the shi----stuffing out of them with Belwar behind him. Plus the dream fight came Zak vs. Drizzt which was totally awesome.

This book made me cry. It was a bit slow for me but I liked it none the less. Homeland is still my favorite book.
