When Cell powered up he had the golden glow around him that Goku, Vegeta, and other saiyans had when they went SSJ. Since he had cells from so many saiyans I think he actually went into SSJ form when fighting. What do you all think?

It could be easily argued that he did in fact go super saiyan.

I say he was. It makes sense, he had cells from about 3 or 4 saiya-jins.

I cant nescessarily say super saiyan, but definietly the power of one: I honestly doubt SUPER SAIYAN

I would have to say no on this one.
Even though Cell does have some Saiyan components, I don't think he has the ability to go SSJ. I would think that he could power up to the level of SSJ but not actually be SSJ. The sparks could just be a representation of how extreme his power is/was...

no gohan didnt kill him with 1 hand it was goku in dea 2
and no he didnt go ssj
he jus had a yellow aura
ubb fused wit majin buu had a yellow aura wen he fought baby
super buu still had a pink aura wen he absorbed piccolo gohan and gotenks he just had there teqniques

no, no, no, and let me think........no. cell did not go SS. just because he had the cells of a sayain dosen't mean he could become one. same power level sure. but not a sayain at all.

No here's why. The yelllow glow was only because of his power up, his body would've turned yellow if he went super sayain.

Gohan had the power all along, Goku only made him finally bring it to the surface. And now on topic, Cell had powers very similar to the super saiyans, but technically I wouldn't actually call him one.... His power was limited below that of Gohan's because of the fact that he wasn't a ss.
