My parents and I lived in the Philippines, in the city of Manila. My father is the owner of a big company and my mother is a housewife. January of 1921, my father buys a car. The very first car. The Model-T Ford. Summer of 1921, we decide to take a family road trip. My birthday is the day after. Driving through the country and late at night, looking for a place to stay, we get stranded somewhere with a lot of farms. A farmer and his wife come out of nowhere, approach us and tell us that it's too late to be driving late at night; they invite us to stay the night. I can't sleep because I can never sleep in unfamiliar rooms. I can only sleep in the comfort of my room and my bed. So i decide to take a walk in the farmland. I notice that they grow taro there. I love taro. All of a sudden, someone is screaming at me. No, not someone, my parents are screaming at me. They are furious. "PINKY ROSE CERVANTES, WHY DIDN'T YOU AT LEAST WARN US BEFORE YOU LEFT THE ROOM? I WOKE UP AND I WAS ABOUT TO HAVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN I NOTICED YOU GONE!" my mother yells at me. "BUT MOM, I CAN'T SLEEP UNLESS IT'S IN MY ROOM! YOU KNOW THAT! AND I WAS ONLY TAKING A WAL---" I try to explain but my father interrupts me. He whispers, exasperated, "Be quiet! i think someone is spying on us!" And all of us become quiet. We see a dark figure watching us. My father tells us to walk away slowly, so we do. but the figure keeps following us. My father tells us to run, and it chases us. We run into the forest and hide, although we know it'll find us because the forest isn't that big. My mom makes me promise her that I'll stay there; hidden in the ditch. Before she and my father leave to distract the figure, my mom puts her gold necklace around my neck. It's just a simple chain, with a locket attached to it, but it's the symbol of the love my parents have for each other. It contains the picture of the both of them on one side, and a picture of me on the other. He gave it to her the night he told her that he loved her and she said that as long as it's on her neck, it's his reassurance for himself that she's still in love with him. Just like that, they were gone, running to the figure. I saw it grab them by their necks and suck their blood. Everything was just happening so fast. I gather myself and watch intently at the monster. I don't know if it saw me, but it just looked at me, but I knew at that instant that it was the Filipino Danag. I broke my promise to my mom. I couldn't let them die that way, so I ran out of the ditch and lunged at the creature. I tried to fight it, and the last thing I remember after that is lying there in the forest. I felt dead. I didn't have a heartbeat. At that point, I knew I had been changed. I was now a vampire. I look for my parents. Ten minutes later, I see them lying side by side holding hands, dead beside a tree. I burst into tears. What am I supposed to do? I take my dad's car keys from his pocket and leave my parents there. I need to get help. I go back to the car. I adjust the rear view mirror, looking at my reflection. I seem so beautiful now. I have no scratches. My hair is a little bit messy, but that's the only flaw i see. I turn the key and apparently, we're out of gas. Or I'M out of gas. So i decide i have to go look for the nearest gas station. I get scared and run. I realize that I'm running so fast. I find the gas station. I had to run all the way into the city to find one. I get a big container of gas and pay for it. I suddenly realize that I'm so strong. I can carry the two containers like it's a toothpick. So, these are the perks of being a vampire. I retrieve my parents and drive them into the city... to the police station. They immediately recognize me. Well, I am one of the richest teenagers in the Philippines, currently. I tell them what happened and they tell me that i was lucky that i stayed away. Yes, i left the part out that i lunged out and whatever comes after that. The next day, it's my birthday and my parents' attorney tells me that i get everything. Everything. I now own the big business. After many decades of managing the business, i realize my appearance is getting very suspicious (because i don't age). I leave someone trustworthy in charge of the company while i leave and go to the U.S.A to live for good. Year 2005: I exit the SEA-TAC airport in Tacoma, Washington. After a week, I'm finally settled in. At some Place called Forks. I now live in a house and I have a fast car. One night, I take a walk. I cry. I cry because i miss my parents. I wouldn't have to go through all of this if they were with me right now. I run. And suddenly, I'm in some dark forest and I run into someone. He's the most handsome guy I'd ever seen in my whole life. And at that moment, i know he's the one I'm supposed to be with. I slap myself to see if it's too good to be true. I close my eyes. I open my eyes; he's gone. The next day, i go to school and join the choir class. I sing and i see some girl glaring at me. I guess she used to be the best singer in the class. I realize i have some special power, because when i stare right back at her while I'm singing, she suddenly smiles at me and it's so genuine. I've found my first friend. My special power is when i sing, i can control people's choices, emotions, and actions. Lunch period, i see him. He sees me too, and i use my power to my advantage. I sing, and suddenly, i find myself talking to him. Having a conversation with him. His name is Edward. Edward Cullen. Suddenly, a girl with brown, slightly curly hair and a pale face yanks him from his seat. History: I remembers I used to live in Romania before I was changed but nothing right before or after it. All I know is that there was pain, so much pain, that when I regained my senses I couldn't move. I didn't get up untill I was so hungry I attakced the first thing i saw, unfortunately it was a hiker. Repulsed with myself I ran as far as I never knew i could, i raced the wind I focused on everything like it was the first time i saw the world. All I wanted was to forget what I did and concentrate on running. I knew that what ever had happend to me that I was diffrent and could never return home, I wanted to protect my family from myself, so I started wandering around the world visiting many palces, learning all I could in hopes my vast knowledge would help me do something that would make a diffrence and I only feed on the guilty souls. One day I ended up in a small town called Forks, Washington, where I found something very interesting; another chance, and would change my endless life.

But on April 10th, 1912, we got on the Titanic. By early morning on the 15th, the Titanic was completely underwater and both my parents were dead; I thought I was about to meet the same fate. That was until Walter Binstead, a boy of 19 who was part of the engine crew, came for me. Walter had fallen in love with me, and I with him. And knew he could save me, because of what he was; a vampire. I don't remember much after except excruciating, burning pain. When I awoke there was Walter with the brightest smile I'd ever seen him wear. But I didn't know it was Walter, he looked different, and the other (his family now i realize) were just as strange. I killed them, I killed them all. I was frightened and alert and didn't know what I was doing before it was too late. So I left. I wandered aimlessly, feeding off animals, swearing never to feed on any "human" again. I walked for several months, when i arrived here in Forks. I decided to stay for a couple of years, but ends up never leaving. I've done my best to make sure I know what has been going on in the world lately; in case I'm ever noticed I can just act human. I never went to school and I was never seen by anyone. I did, however, see others. Other vampires to be exact. And I have to admit I was intrigued, for it seemed they feed of animals as I do. I want to know them, to be allies, but I never seemed to rack up the courage to confront one of them while on the hunt.

However there was still turmoil within the city and the heavily wounded soldiers drew in the silent predators that emanated from the forestry. Many rumors of lycanthropes emerged but few were true; however wandering the streets in the early morning savaging for food he stumbled across two tall figures speaking worriedly. Stupidly Cade listened in and watched as the two eventually transform into what the town had long feared. Tripping over himself to get away he was seized by the wrist by a massive teeth structure. Fighting briefly he passed out to later wake to being adopted by the two alphas of a small pack. Kept more as a prisoner than a son Cade was stuck firmly in the pack for three years before he was truly trusted. During those years he was clueless to why he was kept alive and never did he show signs of being able to transform. Unfortunately the Volturi saw it their duty to destroy most werewolves in Europe for their ability to change humans to werewolves in a similar way vampires do. Just with a higher success rate and quicker process. Cade nine years old at that time fled successfully passing himself off as human. Finding his slaughter pack instilled a deep confusion. He had formed bonds with many members but when the night had fallen he'd close his eyes constantly aware he was still caged in their mist. As a year passed living off the stage of a magician's caravan, Cade finally reached a point where he was growing faster than he could be clothed. Aware of the possibility he could inherit the tribe's curse, he fled for the deep woods of Germany where he finally changed at the age of ten. Familiar with hunting he quickly became aware of a lack of 'werewolf' scent. He simply smelled like the trees, a very indistinct earth smell. For years he spent hiding himself in the woods and as the years went by he aged less and less. Eventually boredom forced him back into society and despite his years he was forced to relearn many things and thus he began apprenticeships with many craftsmen. It was all apart of keeping hidden. Living off the skills he picked up over the years he headed for the united states around the 60's. After a while, he drifted towards Forks, Washington. Unfortunately to avoid detection he still needed to attend different high schools as either a transfer student or foreign exchange student. The house he choose was little more than a little run down but suited his solitary needs. Plus it was in walking distance of the high school which he liked. Cade still preferred wagon to automobile. he recognized the signs of vampire life but arrogantly or stubbornly he choose to stay. Plus he hated dealing with paper work. Sneaking behind Jacob, she followed him to the Cullen's, learning that the werewolves are in league with the 'cold-ones'. Following the vampire's scent, she ran into Bella, who was shocked to see a new werewolf, but was punished by Jacob for not following his orders. Yes, i left the part out that i lunged out and whatever comes after that. The next day, it's my birthday and my parents' attorney tells me that i get everything. Everything. I now own the big business. After many decades of managing the business, i realize my appearance is getting very suspicious (because i don't age). I leave someone trustworthy in charge of the company while i leave and go to the U.S.A to live for good. Year 2005: I exit the SEA-TAC airport in Tacoma, Washington. After a week, I'm finally settled in. At some Place called Forks. I now live in a house and I have a fast car. One night, I take a walk. I cry. I cry because i miss my parents. I wouldn't have to go through all of this if they were with me right now. I run. And suddenly, I'm in some dark forest and I run into someone. He's the most handsome guy I'd ever seen in my whole life. And at that moment, i know he's the one I'm supposed to be with. I slap myself to see if it's too good to be true. I close my eyes. I open my eyes; he's gone. The next day, i go to school and join the choir class. I sing and i see some girl glaring at me. I guess she used to be the best singer in the class. I realize i have some special power, because when i stare right back at her while I'm singing, she suddenly smiles at me and it's so genuine. I've found my first friend. My special power is when i sing, i can control people's choices, emotions, and actions. Lunch period, i see him. He sees me too, and i use my power to my advantage. I sing, and suddenly, i find myself talking to him. Having a conversation with him. His name is Edward. Edward Cullen. Suddenly, a girl with brown, slightly curly hair and a pale face yanks him from his seat. "Bella, i was just having a conversation," he explains, and he just grunts and he sighs and follows her, soothing her. A few months later, a new guy comes t town. He's the new, new kid and I swear, I find myself so attracted to him. But I love Edward. But I can't resist the new guy, either. Who will I choose? "PINKY ROSE CERVANTES, WHY DIDN'T YOU AT LEAST WARN US BEFORE YOU LEFT THE ROOM? I WOKE UP AND I WAS ABOUT TO HAVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN I NOTICED YOU GONE!" my mother yells at me. "BUT MOM, I CAN'T SLEEP UNLESS IT'S IN MY ROOM! YOU KNOW THAT! AND I WAS ONLY TAKING A WAL---" I try to explain but my father interrupts me. He whispers, exasperated, "Be quiet! i think someone is spying on us!" And all of us become quiet. We see a dark figure watching us. My father tells us to walk away slowly, so we do. but the figure keeps following us. My father tells us to run, and it chases us. We run into the forest and hide, although we know it'll find us because the forest isn't that big. My mom makes me promise her that I'll stay there; hidden in the ditch. Before she and my father leave to distract the figure, my mom puts her gold necklace around my neck. It's just a simple chain, but it's the symbol of the love my parents have for each other. He gave it to her the night he told her that he loved her and she said that as long as it's on her neck, it's his reassurance for himself that she's still in love with him. Just like that, they were gone, running to the figure. I saw it grab them by their necks and suck their blood. Everything was just happening so fast. I gather myself and watch intently at the monster. I don't know if it saw me, but it just looked at me, but I knew at that instant that it was the Filipino Danag. I broke my promise to my mom. I couldn't let them die that way, so I ran out of the ditch and lunged at the creature. I tried to fight it, and the last thing I remember after that is lying there in the forest. I felt dead. I didn't have a heartbeat. At that point, I knew I had been changed. I was now a vampire. I look for my parents. Ten minutes later, I see them lying side by side holding hands, dead beside a tree. I burst into tears. What am I supposed to do? I take my dad's car keys from his pocket and leave my parents there. I need to get help. I go back to the car. I adjust the rear view mirror, looking at my reflection. I seem so beautiful now. I have no scratches. My hair is a little bit messy, but that's the only flaw i see. History: I remembers I used to live in Romania before I was changed but nothing right before or after it. All I know is that there was pain, so much pain, that when regained my senses I couldn't move. I didn't get up untill I was so hungry I attakced the first thing i saw, unfortunately it was a hiker. Repulsed with myself I ran as far as I never knew i could, i raced the wind I focused on everything ike it was the first time i saw the world. All i wanted was to forget what i did and concentrate on running.I knew that what ever had happend to me that I was diffrent and could never return home, I wanted to protect my family from myself, so I started wandering around the world visiting many palces, learning all I could in hopes my vast knowledge would help me do somethign tha would make a diffrence and only feeding on the guilty. One day I ended up in a small town called Forks, Washington, where I found something very interesting and would change my endless life.
