How do you feel about her sudden 're-take-over' of the guild?

I don't see it as fair.
In the first place, she shouldn't have acted so immuture about the whole "stop running the guild like a dictator leader"
Why can't we be a democratic guild?

I had a feeling there was going to be a thread about this...
And I feel a horrible about angel taking over the guild when the other person was a much better choice.

I hope they get this sorted out soon. Yeah. Even though she's a bad captain, the only thing we can do is get her better, or make a new guild and leave her behind.

I'm not quite sure how we'll manage to do that. She seems to be a tyrant...
I didn't have much of an opinion on her up until she locked the thread we were talking about the situation in to "stop the fighting between us".
I don't want to correct her, but the fighting was between us and her, not between each other. We all agreed with each other. I didn't read one objection to Noki not being the captain nor did I read an objection to getting rid of arkangelstar1, although she seems to believe differently. Arkangelstar1 First of all the Barton Guild Members was my idea, I never obligated you people to join, you did it on your own. I got an unfair ban, and everyone knows it. Do whatever you want, but I'll lock this thread to avoid further fights among you people! But one thing is for certain, I won't quit Captain!
It's a flawed system. I hate it. mad

I was thinking some of the same things.
We weren't fighting with each other. Well... I was fighting a bit against Noki at first, but that got cleared up quickly. I even edited the first post and title way before she locked it.
We were just talking about the situation. She shouldn't have locked it because it was constructive and it wasn't spamming.
Unfair ban my a**. I'm sorry, but it was unanimous among the crew to ban her. When I joined the guild, I thought it'd be equality among the people with fearless leaders and strong crew. I'm sure others thought the guild would be good too, seeing as most Bartonians are great people.

I agree!
And do you know of any other Barton guilds? I love Barton, but if it's ruled by this spam-tyrant leader I'd rather go somewhere else.
I feel bad too, because I was hoping this place would be full of amazing Bartonians, but instead it was full of conflict, although I'm not helping much at all with conflicts (seeing I'm probably fueling some myself).
Guh.

What really bugged me was temp-closing the thread! I mean, really? I think we should go a democratic approach, and have a vote. I have to say, though Noki's a better leader, and Arkangelstar1 is just a spammer and a tyrant.

The thing is... Only Arkangelstar can change leadership to someone else. If Noki tries to change leadership to himself, he'll probably get banned from Gaia. ._.|||
Not even site moderators can do anything about it.
It's very, very, very [x+9000] unlikely that ArkAngelStar will give up this place... even though Noki gave it to her first. =_=;;
He had to pay 20k for this place.

Catasis Excuse me for barging in like this when I am no longer a part of the guild, but I feel that I should say something...
Arkangelstar1, while it may have seemed incredibly harsh to have been removed from the Captain rank, you must realize that they had their reasons to do so. They had even explained speaking about it, and that they had realized that someone of better stature should fulfill that role. I am sure they did not mean to cause you any harm by this move.
And now, in your return to the rank of Captain, I have to say (on my own personal insight) that it was incredibly selfish of you to do so. Even though you were the technical leader, the other crew members had decided to appoint Noki to that position. To forcibly take it back shows the guild that you only care for your own interests, and not the interests of the guild members themselves.
Your naiveté will be your downfall. You'd best think about that statement, Captain, lest you lose the guild.
I apologize if I sounded rude at any point. I merely wanted to get my point across.

I don't really think that creating a new poll on her leadership abilities and question of personal character will really help the situation at all. confused
Nevertheless, I don't want to argue about it because I don't really know much of what went on and probably don't want to know. Since I hardly know Ark at all, I can't choose any option other than "Other" since the other ones would be unfair for someone I can't judge accurately from a personal perspective.
Anyhow, I bothered typing this out because you said you wanted those who selected "Other" to post why, and I guess my post also at least shows that the one vote so far isn't just hers. sweatdrop

I suppose it's just us letting out our frustrations on the whole situation (it was a good stress-reliever).
And I didn't have much of an opinion on Arkangelstar1 for the longest time (didn't even know she was captain up until someone pointed it out to me), but then I became more aware of what was happening in the guild and in turn an opinion on her formed.
And it's good to know your reasons. In due time you'll have an opinion of her though.
Oh, and I'm pretty sure she'll never set foot in here. It's Intelligent Discussions after all, she seems like the type to go in the spam subforum (I've never actually seen her post anything other than spam).
