DID anyone hear besides me that Zac EFFRON is supposed to play Raito in an american version of DEATHNOTE. I don't know what to say. I want to gag? it He has the hair...but does he have the Kira within? If anyone can disprove this rumor please put me out of my misery.

it has been confirmed that indeed yes there will be an american remake of death note coming out in 2010. the script is already in writing by two famous brothers who have wrote scripts like the eye and the grudge. the cast has not yet been confirmed but there has been rumors that zac effron is a very likely canditate.
