Hi. I'm new here. I'm not an amazing skater, but I know a thing or two about some flatland. Still Primos really aren't that hard to get into (I have no clue how Mullen does them moving, I guess he's just amazing). I'm regular, so if you're goofy-footed then just flip the left and right foot in my explanation.

OK, first there are two types of primos. Heelside and toeside. I don't know which one you're attempting so I'll give you tips for both.

First, the toeside primo (board flips toeside)
This one's actually a lot easier than heelsides to pop into. Just quickly push the toeside of the board down with your toes, and hop up to the wheels.

Next, the heelside primo (board flips heelside)
First, place your left toes over the front of the board a little, kinda like if you're going into a heelflip. Move your right foot off the heelside of the board (not on the tail, but near the bolts). First, apply slight pressure to your left heel. Then, quickly pop the board up by adding pressure to your right toes and releasing the tension from your left. As soon as you pop the board in this manner, hop up slightly. Practice a lot to get your feet to land on the board just as it lands on its side. It takes a while, but you should be able to get it if you practice hard for 15 minutes.

Hope that helps.
