I saw quite a few books in the new age section that interested me. These were a few that caught my attention. what do you think? Please review them for me if you have read them.

Encyclopedia of Wicca, neo-paganism... by raymond buckland

a few books by sylvia browne (like the books finding the past or something with her pic and like pyrimids in the back for one)

Judika Illes
Her like 5000 spell encyclopedia and her a-z guide on witchcraft.

I have this book called "Intuition: The key to divination"
It has basic information on i-ching, astrology, tarot, runes, dreams and numerology.
Pretty interesting to read.

You can never go wrong (in my opinion) with anything by Raymond Buckland. Steer clear of books like "teenage love spells" though.

lol i 5th it though its not only those books. You need to Check on the author's background Like Silver RavenWolf She's been known to place in false spells and jack up prices way to high for a book.

Apparently there are a few good Ravenwolf stuff out there, you just need to know what it is. Personnaly, I prefer Cunningham, but I like to get everything I can.

I'm just starting, but, Scott Cunningham has a great selection of books. He wrote Solitary Wicca was what got me started learning, and then on to other authors. Raymond Buckland's Complete Book of Witchcraft is also good, its in lesson format with detailed chapters. Ravenwolf while written in a fluffy format can be good for beginners you just need to be true to what you believe in while buying and reading books. I'm currently reading through a book by Morrison called 'The Craft' which seems to be really good with lots of usefull information. Me personally I don't believe in Sylvia, and don't buy her stuff. But that's not to say that other people do, its just that our personalities clash.

Scott Cunningham's books are definitely good for beginners. I have Solitary WIcca ( or th ebtter part of it anyways ) here on my computer. It was very useful and easy to understand.

As with anything, just make sure you know what you are doing/reading, and read as much as you can so you get more than one persons opinion and not just one. And know that not only one person is right, and since Wicca/Paganism are religions greatly passed down through books and writing, it's hard to know exactly the right- so there are many different versions of whats "right".

Well, one book that I have to suggest to all teenage guys (or any age actually) would be Sons of The Goddesse, by Penczak. I really loved this one, some more down to earth information, but actually directed at some of the problems that a guy can run into while learning, that aren't looked at in other books.

That's awesome! I've yet to see a book directed at guys. I've only seen ones directed towards feminism and wicca.
