Well, I finally passed Ch. 15 and was able to promote Alen into a Paladin, recruit Percival who is a better Paladin, and get the Noah/Fir A support... still can't seem to get Roy/Sophia...
Oh, and I got Fa. >_>
Chapter 16 is INSANELY HARD BEYOND HARD. I have to recruit Hugh AND Zeiss, keep stupid Douglas alive, and somehow survive Bolting, Berserk, Silence and Sleep staffs, Mamkutes, and hoardes of Killer Weapons.

Well, after successfully scraping by the evil Chapter 14, I am now embarking on the even more evil Chapter 15. ******** Valkyries.
My Sophia is turning out extremely well, she's already packing more STR points than Rei could ever hope to have. x_x; Her speed and skill suck massively compared to Rei's though.
Lilina is a ******** Magic tank. She can blow out a Mamkute with a Fire spell.
It just depends which one you prefer, more accuracy or more power... Skill and Speed items are a LOT more accessible than STR item (energy ring)

Well, I passed Chapter 11 the other day which makes me officially ahead of where I was in my previous game.

Well, I have to start over from scratch since I accidentally chose the wrong route in Chapter 10. Screw this... *dies* So I'm keeping this as a mini-journal to document my mishaps and failures to ensure that the next generation of Fuuin players are better off. Which means you guys in the Guild hopefully.
I mean seriously... would you rather have a badass female Hero and a cute Dancer or a DISGUSTING ugly Bard and an OLD-VERSION BARTRE?!! I mean, he's bad enough as a late 20's crappy Fighter, but can you imagine him as an

USELESS UGLY UNIT! scream
You can't blame me, but it's sooo much work. But I suppose it's better than being miserable the rest of my game... I was so damn close to getting my Sophia. SO CLOSE!

Well, I started anew and played up to Chapter 4. Alen once again kicks major Brigand, Fighter and Mercenary arse. Wolt is also doing well, and I'm trying a bit harder to level up ROY so he won't suck a small fraction as bad as he did in my other game. But he still sucks no matter what.
Sucks more than a cheap French whore.

Well, I'm doing well on my restart. I'm on Chapter 7 in Fuuin and 8 on Seima, and I'm pleased with the stats of my units on both games.
Here's a tip if you ever play Fuuin:
USE ALEN. He's a frickin' god as far as Social Knights go. His stats are incredible. He and Noah are my two awesome Social Knights of Fuuin.

Yoshi King xd , I NEVER used any Social Knights/Paladins in Fuuin. Too many other units, and Paladins are too average... 'Cept for Noah, 'cause he got me Fir heart Noah x Fir ... best Fuuin Pair Evar. ._. I likeys me Alen... I don't really use any other ones though. =/ I'll probably stop using him once I get more units. (Like Sophia *cough*. I also have to make room for Lalum and Ray soon... and Thite... and a crapload of other people. ) Right now my main team besides Roy (Chapter 7) consists of Lou, Rutger, Clarine, Wolt, Alen, Chad, Thany, and Dieck. Later on when I get Ogier I use him like nuts instead of Dieck, and hell is he good. I also use Fir, duh. Lilina can suck it. I can't wait till I get Hugh... but I'm also afraid because I have to have an unholy ******** (Kamdas' phrase, I think?) of Gold to recruit him and have his stats not suck. And the Arenas in Fuuin scare the crap out of me.

I can't wait till I get Hugh... but I'm also afraid because I have to have an unholy ******** (Kamdas' phrase, I think?) of Gold to recruit him and have his stats not suck. And the Arenas in Fuuin scare the crap out of me. Lilina was so good, though! crying Once I hacked her... xd Ta-chan, the arena's aren't that difficult. They're actually quite level-up friendly...unless you're facing a berserker or a Swordmaster xd .

Fuuin doesn't have a U.S. release date, and as thus only has translated names. The ones we're getting are Seima and Souen.
