So basically this year is the first year we are expected to catch solid fives rather than quads as per usual. Then suddenly they're asking us for sixes and sevens on sabre...I just got my five down a couple weeks ago.
Next they'll have us tossing people in the air. gonk xd gonk
Any suggestions for those tosses and/or similar stories regarding instructors and their high expectations?

I say just practice alot to get those down. The only times i can get a 7 is if i switch directly from rifle to Sabre, and that helps me alot, so i no how much force i should use and what not

It's my first year on sabre, and my instructor has me and another girl (first time, sabre, too) tossing 6's together. Surprisingly, it's not as hard as I thought personally. lol. I guess it's cause I did rifle for, like, four seasons. :]

This will be my first season on rifle and my goal is to get a 6 out D: I kinda have fives. But hopefully tosses won't be as hard on sabre, cause I did a year of rifle. <3

So I bought a new rifle and it is sooo light, almost too light. But since I was used to my old heavier one I can toss a six on the new one...sometimes. Greasegirl is right, I just have to practice more. thanks for the input! biggrin
