User ImageThe sky was a symphony of colors, all ranging from the light blue that was the usual to the bright pink that stated that the sun was setting. Hooves hit the green covered earth in a slow beat, pushing down the grass and cracking the branches that were littered upon the forest floor. Alik could discern through the small partings in the trees that he had little daylight left to get to a proper resting place, before the dark blue that made up the night sky took over.

Traveling through this dense forest half the day had completely tired him out, making him drowsier than usual and half delusional. Tired of seeing the trees and bark that forests were usually compiled of, he started a quick trot to get to the edge that would hopefully procure a stream of some sort. His mouth felt fuzzy from lack of hydration and it was getting difficult to swallow. His last drink had been hours ago, so it was no wonder that he was hallucinating.

Minutes after starting his trot, Alik saw the bright light of the sun setting in front of him, casting its light through the underbrush and trunks of the tall trees. He galloped further and finally made it through the final bushes that held the forest of death, which he was now calling it, and he gave a sigh of relief and soon began his search for water. The colors in the sky were now less vibrant, but there was still enough light for him to quickly find a stream.
