 The GameA group of teenagers sign up for a reality show where they're given a second chance on love. All of the teenagers have recently broken up and are looking for a new start. What they don't know is that their exes are looking for a second chance too.
Welcome to Date My Ex! The newest reality TV show where we set up broken up couples to look for love with other recently broken up couples. They will be living in a mansion, which they aren't allowed to leave during the show, off the coast of Newport beach and each given a roommate and a room. There is also a patio, living room, kitchen, pool and spa. A map is included in the application form.
At least once a day, we'll have a challenge, which could be almost anything. The winners of the challenge will have the opportunity to go on a romantic mystery date. The location goes unknown until the moment they arrive.
No one gets voted off and everyone finds love. Plus there'll be plenty of fights between exes! You don't want to miss this season! I'm your host, Allison Ackerman, and this is Date My Ex!

 The Contract1. Follow Guild Rules. I think this one is pretty obvious, don't you?
2. Follow Gaia ToS. Also obvious.
3. Try to include loners. Also, if you are a loner, try to include yourself. Don't just sit there and wait for something to come to you.
4. Good characters have flaws. So give yours some.
5. All characters between 16 and 19. This is a requirement.
6. One-liners aren't acceptable. Short posts as infrequently as possible, please!
7. No petty arguments in OOC. It's just childish.
8. Title PMs "Second Chances".
9. Romance is encouraged of course, and so is fighting, but keep it all at a PG-16 level.
10. Please no tragic pasts. No getting jumped in an alley, no parents that don't care whether you live or die. Please, it's just sad. A little tragedy is fine though, of course. Limit yourself.

 RoomatesWhile living at the mansion, each of the teens have a room that they must share with others. Due to an unexpected fifth couple by popular demand, some rooms house three teens and some house two. Those that have three are larger to compensate. There was no bias in the choosing of roommates, rooms or anything else.
In Room 1 is Leila and Kimiko.
In Room 2 is Dayton, Jake and Marlo.
In Room 3 is Tempi, Faye and Alice.
In Room 4 is Cole and Riley.

Faye grabbed her luggage out of the trunk of the taxi cab the show had provided for her from the airport and breathed in the ocean air. Ew. It smelled like fish. But also gave her a salty taste in her mouth, which she loved. She had always been conflicted about the beach. She loved the sand beneath her toes, but she hated the seaweed and the sharp rocks. Sand spilled onto the walkway to the mansion as well, and she got some through her neon green flipflop sandals and onto the bottom of her feet. It was pretty hot outside. Faye was glad that she had wore a tight-fitting lime green tank top with yellow polka dots and dark-wash jean shorts that only went to halfway up her thighs. Wanting to look good on television, and also for all of the boys she was supposed to meet, she had clipped up her hair in two pigtails, curls bouncing and showing off her facial features, as well as letting her use her green and yellow clips. She had also wore a great jumble of bracelets and rings, yellow earrings dangled like a teardrop and a pale yellow necklace with a small pendant shaped like a diamond hung from her neck and bounced against her chest with each step. Faye smiled. Finally she would get a new start. The mansion was lovely, but she didn't have time to look around much, as she had been instructed to go down to the beach where their host would be as soon as possible after unpacking. She tucked her clothes away into the closet next to the bed that was closest to the window. It seemed that she would have two roommates, she thought, something new to her, she thought excitedly. After unpacking, she headed down to the beach where she quickly located the host and camera crew, who directed her to line up just along the shoreline where she bounced on her feet impatiently. Apparently she was the first one here.
Dayton stumbled out of the taxi, with a wave to the driver and went to haul his luggage out the the trunk. This was his first time ever traveling anywhere by either plane or taxi, and he had forgotten a pair of sunglasses on the plane. He put on the new pair he bought at the airport, white rimmed and big, and started off along the path to the mansion with a friendly wave to the taxi driver, who had already left. He could smell the beach from here and wished he could be out surfing right now. It's not that he was good at surfing, he crashed all of the time, but it was a lot of fun for him still, and he loved the beach. He loved to surf on it, bring dates there, and most of all play volleyball. He wasn't a star at that either, but it was still fun. A lot of his time was spent on beaches. The sun was hot and high in the sky, it must've been about midday, and Dayton was glad that he had cut his hair a little before he came here. The new shaggy cut made his blonde hair look nice, and it kept him cool, too, as did his outfit. He was wearing a pair a plaid brown Bermuda shorts, with some other colors thrown in, all of them subtle as well as a pair of darker brown sandals over his tanned feet. His shirt was plain white, but at least it kept the heat off of his body. Inside the mansion it was much cooler, and he figured that they had air conditioning. It was nicely furnished, he noticed as he walked along to the hallway, checking again to see which room he was in. "Oh, right," he said, as he looked at the palm of his hand, where he had scribbled the word 'two' as well as a few other things that he was bound to forget. He unpacked his things and then headed to the beach where a girl already stood along the shoreline. "Hey," he greeted her, and she waved back in response. The camera crew directed him to line up beside her, and he did as he was told, excited and feeling happy with sand beneath his toes.

A bright yellow taxi pulled up and stopped in the large area in front of the mansion. Cole stepped out and shut the door behind him.
Being from the city, he was used to traveling by taxi. He wasn't used to being dropped off in a place so strange to him.
He was a bit overwhelmed just by the size of the building they would be staying in. He had always lived in either an apartment or a small house, so this would definitely be something new for him.
He could feel the sun beating down on his head, his black hair absorbing much of the heat. He brushed the top of his head with his hand and could feel the heat radiating off of it.
It wasn't just his head that was heating him up, either. He wasn't exactly sure what to bring or wear, so he had ended up wearing a pair of long, dark jeans. He would have worn cargo pants, but he figured jeans would give a better first impression. On his torso he wore a light colored short sleeves shirt, which he was thankful for. He had a few rings of various colors and styles on his fingers as well as a black wristband. On his feet were black convers.
"Great...." He mumbled under his breath as he walked to the back of the taxi.
He pulled out a medium sized suitcase as well as a few other bags before closing the trunk. He held the suitcase up next to his body as he made his way over to the entrance to the mansion.
He was trying to suppress a nervous feeling in the pit of his stomach, but it wasn't working very well. He had no idea what to expect with this and he wasn't so sure he had made the right decision to come.
He opened up the door to the mansion and made his way inside, thinking back to what room they had told him he would be staying in.
Four. That was it. He found it fairly quickly and walked inside. He took a short moment to look around at the furniture and things before setting his things down on the bed closest to the door. He unpacked his things quickly and took one last look at the room before heading out.
He made his way down to the beach where he could see a few others as well as the camera crew.
He walked down and went where they told him to.
'What have I gotten myself into?' He thought to himself as he stared at the others who were there.
