I really want to become faster because I want to go to the 2012 olympics in London. Most people I know don't think I can do it, so I want to prove them wrong. I do lap swimming whenever I can, and dryland on the days I can't, but I don't feel like I'm improving that much. It's been my dream since I was around the age of 7. Does anyone have any tips on what I can do to improve my technique or to become stronger, especially in my thighs (because most exercises don't target those muscles). Thank You!

Leg extensions. They work your quads (thighs). You don't even have to use the machine though. If you have ankle weights, you can just strap them on and do the exercise in a regular chair.
