The blue male's dark and irritated eyes swiftly passed over the undisturbed trees of the murky forest. He stopped abruptly, relaxed muscles still, when he heard a rustling in a nearby bush. He made a motion towards the brush; however, paused when a small aviary creature flutter from and away. Sephyr sighed and continued on through the forest at a steady trot. Every stride was purposeful but quiet as his paws seem to barely skim over the floor before lifted again.
Sephyr paused again. "Sakari," he called out again. His large ears were tilted forwards, listening intensely for a hint of a reply. Frowning at the silence he received in return, he continued on again.
Sakari was his irritating twin who had ran off somewhere without him knowing. Although it was not as though they were attached at the waist, it still made him worry when he woke from his day-time nap to find her missing from his side without a good-bye. That irritated him like no other. Then again, she probably knew that and did it to get on his nerves mostly when he ending up falling asleep while she was conversing with him.

Sakari giggled softly as her ears perked up and caught the sound of her name on the wind. Sephyr was undoubtedly searching for her once more. What could she do but antagonize him for a few moments longer? Twins were supposed to do that ... weren't they? Lowering herself to the ground amongst a patch of foliage the blue Ulaya femme kept unusually still.
The sounds of the forest drifted through the air and she had the hardest time to pop her head out. Her brother would most likely find her soon and she wanted the search to go on just a little longer. Inching forward, one paw step at a time, Sakari made a beeline from the direction she had come. Back towards Sephyr ... but keeping hidden as best as she could.
(( First time roleplaying a Ulaya. You might have to pardon my bad skills ))

ooc: I suck too. But I actually think you're doing fine! :]
Sephyr was getting more irritated and a pinch worried as the seconds ticked by. Then again, it wasn't the first time she had done this little game of hide in seek. The quiet for the forest and the frustration building in him reminded him of the days where they drove eachother insane with their little games. If she was, this time, attempting to work his nerves, he would not add to her foolish pleasures. His trot, despite his ragging emotions, was still as calm and composed as ever as though he had all day to find her and it wouldn't matter whether or not he succeeded.
Then, finally, he could just barely hear the slight crunches of dry leaves nearby; however, he found it hard to tell the exact direction of the sound before it disappeared altogether. That witty little ulaya was going to get it once Sephyr had his paws on her. "Don't make me come and get you, Sakari." He warned with his rare half-amused, half-threatening tone.

Sakari's ears twitched at the new tone in her brother's voice as she stilled her movements. Dry leaves crunched under her paw and she looked down in dismay. Great. Just great. The remaining distance was filled with the crunchy little things. Her eyes took in the leaves before her before crouching down. If she could not go any further then it was time to stay put.
Her gaze watched the foliage around her for any sign of movement that would indicate her brother's presence. How could he come and get her when in doing so he'd play right into her paws. The hunter was about to become the hunted. She shook with a sudden silent giggle before remembering to remain still.

Sephyr stopped for a few minutes since he was fairly sure Sakari was around there somewhere. However, there was no immediate sign of her presence; not even a rustle. The blue ulaya, getting exhausted of childish games easily, finally decided to get down to business and search for his crazy twin sister.
Sephyr started towards one side, walking loudly in hopes of attracting his foolish twin. They sometimes say twins think alike. The male had a suspicion Sakari would try to attack him in some way, shape, or form; therefore, tensed his muscles under his blue pelt as he walked in preparation. His paw stepped on some dry leaves causing them to crunch loudly against the silence of the forest.

A pair of blue ears twitched at the sound of crunching leaves nearby and Sakari's eyes gazed in excitement. Her pelt was hidden by foliage and yet the femme thought that it'd be easy to find if one looked hard enough. Perhaps Sephyr had grown tired already. A frown marred Sakari's face as she sighed softly before rustling a few leaves as she stretched out.
She didn't know that she was virtually invisible to her brother's sight and her voice floated out from the brush she hid under."You're no fun Sephyr." Sakari's head popped out from her spot among the bushes, giving up her location, as she searched the area for her twin.

At the sound of rustles and crunches, Sephyr turned his head and look further beyond the tree in his way. Finally, the familiar sight of his twin appeared from a nasty bush and the male huffed in his usual irritated way that sounded almost arrogant as though proud of himself for being able to force her out. Then again, Sakari was probably use to his anti-social ways but many other ulayas would feel quite offected by his over-bearing personality.
"Sakari, what are you even doing over there?" Sephyr spoke up as he approached her while looking around trying to figure out what was so amusing about the whole ordeal. He looked more relaxed now that the whole foolish game was over and done with... hopefully.

Sakari moved closer to her brother before making a shrugging gesture at his query. It was fun. That was the whole point. She was able to have a little bit of excitement when she hid like that and forced Sephyr to search for her. Besides what else was there to do? Moving alongside her twin and matching his stoic expression Sakari huffed silently before laying her head against her brother's left side.
A smile lit her face as she closed her eyes and murmured softly. "I'm sorry Sephyr. I know that you dislike when I disappear like that. But it was too hot back the resting place and I needed to cool down. Then when you started searching for me it became a game."
Sakari fell silent as she waited for Sephyr's response.

Sephyr rolled his eyes at her mock imitation of him which she often does. Siblings, always poking at the greatest flaw you have; can't live with them, can't live without them. Not to mention, she obviously knew how to soften him up as he turned just in time to witness her heart-warming smile. At her earnest explanation, he finally sighed in defeat and forgot about his irritation or any anger that managed to build up. "Got me wrapped around your paw, like always. I can not stay mad at you, fool."
He eyed her for a minute before coming up with a mischievous grin. Without warning, he gentling slipped out from under her head's weight and turned his head so he could bite her ear bring her down enough to use a paw to mess up her forelock.

Sakari squealed in surprise as her brother bit her ear and then messed up her forelock. As she wrestled herself away from the grip on her ear she gave a sideways glare towards Sephyr. She lunged forward and aimed a n** at his remaining paw on the ground. As she did this the pain in her ear grew but she tried to push it back. Freeing herself took a few seconds longer as she tried to avoid serious damage to the ear. Raising her head she continued to glare at Sephyr.
"What was that for?"
Sakari's eyes sparked briefly with anger as she waited for a reply. Her ears lay flat against her skull as if they were trying to avoid a repeat of Sephyr's actions.

Sephyr, always the guy and enjoyed rougher games, seemed amused as Sakari managed to slip out from his grip which he had kept light and playful. Then again, it couldn't not hurt. However, she caught him by surprise as she nipped his paw causing him to instantly give a step back. He licked his paw and that painful sensation once before turning towards her angered expression and coment. That arrogant, guy-ish grin was back on his face and he gave a shrug before chuckling. "Payback for that little game of yours."
Noticing her flatted ears, he rolled his eyes. "Oh, sis, it didn't hurt that badly. Plus, you need the practice for all the trouble you get yourself into." He grinned before letting his pelt brustle a little as though he would pounce her to prove his point.

Sakari's eyes tracked Sephyr's movements as she let her ears return to a more normal position. She wasn't that bad at defending herself - was she? Sighing softly she did a double look at the grin that Sephyr wore before noticing that his pelt was bristling. Now what? Sakari made a nervous gesture before turning around and dashing away. She would not make it easy for her brother.
"Catch me if you can Seph-y," she called in a sing-song voice. She knew that if the challenge wasn't enough to motivate him the nickname she'd given would spur him into action. She giggled as she loped towards the place they had hunkered down for the afternoon. The sun beat down on her dark fur but Sakari could always find another way to cool down later.

Just has he was ready to pounc, Seph-y... the blue male narrowed his eyes in good humor at the name. She knew that got on his nerves more than anything. With a final grin, he let himself become drawn into his playful challenge as he watched his twin dart away from him. With a renewed determination, he started after her at full speed. Sakari wasn't taking this quite as serious as he was and so Sephyr closer to her with every long, sturdy stride of his.
"It's going to take more than that to get away from me," Sephyr called through the wind, flashing her his arrogant grin as his strides started to keep pace with her's if not over-reaching her's because of his size. However, he knew that Sakari was quite the little speed-devil when she felt like it while he enjoyed his lazy lopes.
