The halls are long with high arching ceilings and stone walls full of greys and browns. The floors are a nice polished wood. The walls are lined with heavy antique arch top doors with enchanted locks. Here and there are various sections of lockers for students during the day. At night some of the older students and the staff walk the halls to keep away trespassers.

Standing in the hallway, Dr. Lowland looked up from her satchel to glower at her classroom door. Stupidly, she had locked the room behind her, and now she couldn't find her key. She huffed in annoyance as she tried to find the iron key, amazed that she had already lost it. If it was inside her office still, she was screwed, to put it mildly. With no magic of her own, she would have to seek out the other teachers with magic to get her door open. "Oh, bother!" she finally growled, giving her door a slight kick in annoyance.

Dr. Valverde, his exaggeratively large tome strapped to his back, entered the hallway. As it would seem, his own folly broke his glasses. Thankfully, being the introductory week of school, not many things hindered him on the way to the hall, otherwise, he would have ended up with more bumps and bruises as well as annoyed children. Heading for his classroom Dorian proceeded to activate his famous clumsiness by bumping into Dr. Lowland, who even without his glasses, could tell she was flustered by something. "Oh! I'm terribly sorry..." Dr. Dorian said meekly and apologetically.

When Chloe was bumped into, it was the needed distraction she needed before she phased and threw a hundred and fifteen pounds of snarling fur and fangs at the wood. "Oh, Dr. Valverde..." she said when she saw who bumped into her. "Don't worry about it," the Literature teacher assured him. She returned her eyes to her door and her face darkened. "You wouldn't know how to pick locks, would you?" she asked sarcastically. "I locked myself out of my classroom."

"Ah, Dr. Lowland! I'm sorry, I broke my glasses just now, again, I'm so sorry..." He continued apologetically, looking from his peer to the blurry door, examining it for a moment. "Hmmmm.... seems your in a pickle... maybe..." Dr. Valverde reached into his coat pockets, pulling out several vials of different colored liquids until he found a strange curved vial with silver shimmering goop inside. "Aha, there is is! I loose my key all the time, unfortunately, but I have an alternative..." Uncorking the vial and locating the lock, Dorian began to pour the strange goop into the key hole. In mere seconds, the liquid hardened, becoming stiff and forming a small square on the outside of the key hole. "There we go..." Dr. Valverde turned the key, unlocking the door for Dr. Lowland to enter.

"Thank you so much," Chloe gushed slightly. She noted his missing glasses with interest, then thought of a way to return the favor. "I have a spare pair of glasses in my office. Would you like to borrow them, in return for helping me into my own classroom?" she offered. Being a werewolf, when her anger got the better of her and she phased, she often broke her glasses (along with ruining her clothes) so she always kept an entire spare outfit in her office, including boots and glasses.

" Oh, Not a problem... and thank you, I'll return them right away, I also have a few spares in my room... I'm such a klutz!" Dorian said, dramatically shrugging his shoulders with an amusing expression and smile on his face, that clearly read, 'Oh well.' Dorian then took out the makeshift key and Handed it to Dr. Lowland. "You may keep that, just in case." He said, his grin on his face probably able to bring back the sunshine on a rainy day.

Taking the makeshift key, she slid it into her satchel as she pushed the door open. Rather than risk him running into a booksheld and creating a living nightmare for the neat-freak professor, she took his wrist in her hand to lead him around the tables to her back office. She let go only to open her office door, which was without a lock so she locked her classroom instead. Inside, it was easy for her to walk around to the other side of her desk and open the top right drawer. There, in the leather glass case, was her spare pair of glasses. "I don't know what prescription you have, but I'm far-sighted. I hope these will help..." she walked back around the desk to press the golden frames into his hands.

Taking the glasses, he put them on carefully. He was near-sighted, but amazingly, they made things sightly more clearly. It was better than being completely sight-deprived, so he wore them gratefully. "Thank you so much, they really help. I'll return them right away, I just need to grab my own pair and put this enormous book in my office." He shifted his back, which was practically killing him from the large weight. "It's like they couldn't have made this book any bigger..." He said, jokingly. "Either way, I wont be long." Turning, and now slightly less- blind, Dorian made his way to his classroom...
Like he had said, it didn't take him five minutes as he dropped off the large book that hindered his back and replaced the golden spectacles with his own normal pair. He entered the classroom, quickly returning the golden pair to their formal master. "...Once again, I thank you, Doctor, I probably would have fallen down my own steps without your kindness." He said as he examined her classroom, as if he were testing out his own vision after a miracle.

So now what? Well, DJ's come to the conclusion of simply lolly gagging the halls. An exploration, a quest, a super cool journey. Yeah, that's how it is. That's exactly how he sees it. He's on his way to slay a dragon. Yeah, that's cool.
He's since placed his ear buds back in and purposefully started the shuffle playlist on Equilibrium's "Mana" Oh, what a song! What a band! The best band, by far in the world. The masters of the folk metal genre, the masters of all. Seriously, the way DJ sees it, these dudes are on the same in the same league with the masters of old. Mozart, Beethoven, Bach... Yes, they paved the way, but Equilibrium finished the road completely.
Listening to the masters of the folk genre puts DJ at ease, no more than mere ease. He's actually content. A smile even makes his way to his face. If auras and things were visible, his would be off the chain, it'd probably fill this entire hallway. It's even affected his walk. He travels these halls with a proud sense of domination. This is his school. He owns it. He pwns it. It's like he's gliding. Weightless, free, like he's traveling on angelic wings of benevolence. Oh the joy! Oh the wonder! He could take down a demon if he wanted to. Nothing could stand in his way. Nothing could break his spirit.
He wanders and wanders until before he knows it, steps into the dorm hall again.

Gystic entered the hallways, heading to her office. She couldn't help but stupidly admire the grand ceilings. She had never worked in an environment like this before. There were already two teachers, chatting among themselves, but ignored them, and busied herself towards the mathematics classroom, where she would soon be teaching.

Christopher sped through the empty hallway. He couldn't help but wonder if it was actually the start of class. But he soon sped of into his next and first class, leaving the thought behind.
