It was that time again! Time to get to know the people around him and to get in touch with new friends! Carlisle was busy making the little party 'room' perfect for his, soon to arrive, guests. Although, he kept to Tokoro he knew this time, but allowed them to bring any friends or family they feldt like bringing. He knew many of them would come with their Mate, or maybe a sibling or two, but a few would come alone. He simple enjoyed entertaining people.
So, once he was happy with the surrounding area and all his little treats and drinks he sat back and awaited his company. Slowly people started to show up and Carlisle greeted them all cheerfully.
Artemis was always invited to Carlisle's parties, and she was one of the faithful ones that always showed up with a new friend. She loved Carlisle, in a friendship kinda way, and she enjoyed showing her friend off to others. However, she had a different purpose today! It was time Carlisle finally settle down! So, she was preparing to introduce him to Tabitha! Someone just as exotic as he was!
"Come on Tabie! You have to come! I don't want to go alone! Please! I promise you'll love it!" She said, flashing the female her dazzling smile.

 Tabitha was playful, but not outgoing and forward. She wasn't sure about this whole "party" idea. If Arte had even mentioned her plan with her and Carlisle, Tabitha would have most likely have rejected the whole offer altogether. Her usual meeting with males normally started and ended with them drooling over her until she just couldn't take not having an actual conversation with them and walked away. "I don't know, Arte... I don't want you to go alone either... but you know how me and parties go together! I mean, remember last time? That one colorful Tokoro stalked me like, the entire night!"

"Oh, come on!" Artemis complained, pulling off her perfect puppy dog eyes. She knew it would be different this time! Carlisle wasn't like any other male she'd met before! He could talk to beautiful women all day and keep perfect eye contact! Sure, he never fell in love with anyone...but who couldn't love Tabitha? Artemis new these things! She was perfect at matching other up, and she was determined to match these two!
"I'll stalk you the whole time and distract any man that gets near you and stares! The only stalker you'll have is me! You know how I can drive away men! Come on!" Artemis said, smirking lightly at her own joke.

Tabitha nudged her jokingly. "Your gonna find someone faster than you think, girlie!" She smiled at her warmly. "But I'll go... as long as your promise to keep filthy creeps away from me." She snickered at herself but deep down almost felt ashamed for uttering those words. She didn't like to put others down like that... but what else could she call them?

Artemis mentally slapped herself, how could she have forgotten to tell Tabi about Maji? Well, she'd only meet him once, but it was enough to make her chase after him. She'd have to explain that later though.
She didn't really expect there to be many creeps at the party, Carlisle had good friends, and many of them were as close to kind as he was, as possible. "Now worries Tabi!" She said, dashing off to lead the way.

Tabitha fluffed her curls before following Artemis. "So is this one of those late night raves or just a get together?" She hadn't realized how rediculously nerdy that sounded until the words had already left her lips.

Artemis laughed at her friends question. It really did sound silly, but it made all the difference in the world. "Just a super fun get together! Sometimes Carlisle comes up with games and competitions, but most of the time it's fun to juts mingle and enjoy the food!" She said, rubbing her stomach convincingly. The food really was great...
It didn't take long to get there, before they really knew it, they were stepping into an open meadow where a few Namir were already present. Artemis smiled encouragingly at Tabitha and then searched for Carlisle. When she spotted him she giggled lightly. "Carlisle dear friend! I have someone you must meet!" She dragged Tanitha over to meet him.
"Carlisle, Tabitha! Tabi, Carlisle!" She said, flashing the both with her beautiful, bouncy smile.
Carlisle had been distracted form greeting his guest, one of his old pals had been telling him a rather interesting little tale of his adventures. Seems he'd been busy wince the last time they'd meet. He was in the middle of joking around with him when he head his name called. He head popped up and he looked over to see Artemis and her mentioned friend. He started to walk toward them, but she was in front of him quicker then he could blink.
"Bloody...I mean, well. You move fast." He said, joking around and giving her a little wink. Artemis was always welcome at his parties, she was always one of the many that kept it exciting.
"Pleasure to meet you Tabitha! As Artemis has said, my Name's Carlisle and I love seeing new faces." He bowed his head in a formal greeting and smiles lightly.

Tabie nodded in response to understanding Arte.
As they arrived at the party, Artemis wasted no time in introducing her to the host, Carlisle. At first thought, Tabitha wanted to give Artemis one of those "Oh, so this was your plan!" looks, but the moment she layed eyes on him, there was no way on earth she could be upset with her best friend; he was gorgeous! And as much as Tabie would have liked to ignore, the males that normally chased after her, weren't exactly the "gorgeous" ones. Not wanting to be a hypocrite, she had to mentally force herself not to stare and definetely not start oogling. When Carlisle bowed to her though, and said it was a pleasure to meet her, Tabitha nearly melted on the spot. For once, he was the put-together one and she was falling apart! She was so unfamiliar with this whole situation, her politeness seemed a bit off this evening but she hoped it would go unnoticed. With a glowing smile, Tabitha responded, "The pleasure is all mine, Carlisle..." she curtsied a bit, to the best of her ability. "Thank you so much for inviting us to your party."

Carlisle smiled, pretending to not notice her little plundering moment. He had to admit, girls did that often around him, but it wasn't that he usually paid it any extra attention. However, Tabitha herself was a very beautiful female and she knew how to be polite!
He laughed whole heartily, "Oh no worries! Artemis and I have been friends for a long time, and she's well know for bringing exceptional friends! You're welcome to come to any party again! Now, might you like some tea?" He would have asked Artemis too, but she had run off somewhere. He hadn't even noticed it until now, he'd been paying too much attention to his new guest.

Tabitha's cheeks turned a rosy pink at his kind words. Looking innocent, she agreed to tea, despite having never tried it before. "Oh! I would very much like some, thank you!" If Tabie hadn't been in la-la land at that time, she would have been much more talkative, and definetely would have noticed her best friend's disappearance. Right now, though, her head seemed to be higher than the clouds.

"This way then!" Carlisle said, smiling and leading her over to one of the many tables. He'd already filled the glasses, so he simply picked on up and offered it to her. "I've found that tea is a very, relaxing drink! It's always nice on days when your head it stuck in the clouds!" He gave her a little wink and picked up a tea cup for himself. "To making new friends!" He said, offering her a toast with his simple smile.

Tabitha's cheeks turned an even brighter pink, and at any other moment but then, she could have probably hidden them beneath her curls. At that moment though, she was raising her glass in celebration to their meeting. "To making...friends!" Tabie smiled politely as their cups clinked together. She could tell her eyes were still slightly large at hearing his initial words though, (He was basically reading her like a book!) so she quickly started blinking to appear cute, even though it made her appear a bit desperate if one didn't know better.
Sipping the tea slowly, Tabitha took in the taste. Being a sweet-tooth, she thought it needed sugar. With as much as she seemed to be stumbling with her words, though, she bit her tongue instead and continued to drink the tea as she was given. As she drank, she tried to think of something remotely intelligent to say to Carlisle. Tabitha figured the words would come out better if she thought about them first.

Carlisle took a deep sip from his tea. He always loved the taste, but he knew some people liked to add things to their's. So, seeing as Tabitha couldn't seem to find her words he helped her out a little. He was thinking she was speechless about the tea, not him. "Sounds you like more sugar? Some Tokoro have sweet tooths!" He said, lughing lightly and pointing to a little bowl of sugar.
It wasn't that Carlisle could read minds, he was just good at reading others. He was also good at reading emotions. So, he could usually tell what was bothering someone, or if they were hiding things from him. "So, Tabitha, have you been to many parties like this before?" He asked, opening up some conversation for her. He wasn't quite sure she could form words at the moment.

Tabitha couldn't help herself this time. Her jaw literally dropped a few centimeters and she sat there for a moment before giggling softly, partially at herself for being so silly, and also at the mere thought that maybe he really could read minds! I'm losing it... she thought as she reached for the sugar. "Heh.. thanks! You know me so well and I've just barely gotten to know you!" Part of Tabitha was frightened by this, but the other half was more comforted by the factor. She chose to continue on the path of comfort and get to know Carlisle.
"Uh... no, I'm afraid I haven't been to many parties like this." she smiled cutely at him. "I mean, Artemis normally drags me off to a few of her, well, what I call 'attempts to get rid of me'... but other than that, this is the first formal party I've been to in quite a long time, I must admit."
The wheels in her brain finally started to rotate, but must have jammed a little because her next thought seemed partial. "Do you go to parties like this often?" The minute the words left her mouth, Tabitha wanted to smack herself. Uh, he hosts them! Duhhh! her brain screamed at her.

Carlisle smiled, he just knew how to read others. Actually he was just naturally a good guesser. His life was basically made up of lots of luck! How else could he have lived through all his travels? He smiled lightly at all his silly memories. He almost missed his adventurous life, but he was enjoying this calm atmosphere of a tribe. It was pretty inviting, plus it was nice too meet new Tokoro. Like Tabitha...
He laughed lightly at her question, he didn't mean to really, but it was kind of funny! Though, he had to admit, besides his own parties, he didn't really get around much. "Well, I don't really go to other parties, I have so many of my own. I guess...you know what. I've never really been invited to a party!" It was true, he wasn't really invited to any parties, but he had so many of his own anyway! What did it really matter?
"What's your favorite fruit?" He asked, trying to get the conversation started again.
