I believe the world would be a better place if everyone learnt to be just a little nicer (no matter how nice you are already)
So here is a list of random acts of kindness
Feel free to add to it and carry out as many was you can biggrin
- Look for something around you that can be fixed up, picked up, or attended ie, put shopping carts up, pick up some trash laying around, pick up something that has fallen over
- Cut coupons out and leave them at the grocer register for others
- Put change in a row of vending machines
- Visit a nursing home. Spend time visiting with someone who doesn't get visitors
- Share a comic strip or something funny with someone else.
- Drop a few coins in an area where children play, where they can easily find them.
- Buy a copy of your favorite book and donate it to your local library or hospital
- Bring cookies or some snack to work for office
- Tape some change to a payphone with a card saying it is for whoever needs it
- Use recycled paper!
- Donate blood!
- Plant a tree!
- Reduce, Reuse and recycle biggrin
- Go to a local park and pick up rubbish
- Adopt a neglected animal rather than buying one from a pet store

^^ great ideas,
here are some I do quite often myself:
-when at the grocery store, help some one with their cart, and wish them a nice day.
-open a door for some one
-smile and wish people well when you pass them
- when it's raining and you see some one walking the same direction as you with out and umbrella, walk with them and let them walk under your umbrella. ~don't forget to smile~
- help some one carry something that they obviously can't on their own.
- offer change to the person in front of you in the check out when they don't have enough
-give your waitress an extra $10 or $15
-make a kids day by talking to them and complimenting them on something ~I have 5 younger brothers and sisters and they love it when "big" kids tell them they are doing something cool.
- leave flowers on a forgotten, unattended tombstone.
- give veggies and fruits to a neighbor who is lonely
- invite the new family in the neighbor hood out for dinner
-bring some one an apple pie ^^
-play with some kids at the park xD
-give your pocket change to the man begging in the street, or better yet, buy him some food from that street vendor as well
- offer help to some one that is stranded
-have a cook out
-organize a neighbor hood get together
~I fully agree that we should spread kindness to everyone we meet, the funny thing about kindness is, even if you do something nice for the grumpiest person in the entire world...they are going to do something nice for some one with out even thinking about it, I have walked up and down the busiest street near my house and just spent the day lending a hand to people, and then watched them do the same for some one else, it's amazing what a little kindness will do. ~
