As you probably know, I'm a bit ADD. Occasionally I have these random thoughts that I would like to share. Since I live alone, they often go unheaded. I've decided that we need a thread for just such thoughts. So post anything here that you have no reason to post anywhere else.

When I realised I would be a good mommy: My niece was one and got into the kitchen. I found her sitting on the floor with a metal spoon. She had gotten some pots and pans and lids out of the lower cabinet and was banging loudly on them. Instead of yelling, putting her in her playpin, and picking up the dishes, I got a big tin bowl out of the upper cabinet, because it makes a better ting sound and another metal spoon. I sat down with her and started banging right along with her until we got so loud that my mother came home, she came running from the car to see what what happening. Yep, I miss those days.

I know the air speed velocity of a European swallow..... Its 17 mps on average. No kidding either, tests were done.

Left In The Rain I know the air speed velocity of a European swallow..... Its 17 mps on average. No kidding either, tests were done. What is the speed of the African swallow? Which can carry the most weight?
