I had potato salad made by Pink's mom for breakfast. We had a bbq last night and it was left over.
Solar-chan also got her laptop today! So I can take Gaia with me when I go away! Well, as long as I can find somewhere with free internet or a not so secure place to leech from lol

Ooooooh new laptop *pokes it* spiffyness.
I have a shiny new guild. Its exciting.
My boyfriend wanted to send me flowers for our anniverasry tomorrow. Its too expensive so I told him no. He's sad now. I will cheer him up though.

We both ended up working on our year and half anniversary. And yes, we actually celebrate things like that. During the first year, he or I would point out the monthly anniversaries. We're both kinda sappy like that, even though he looks big and scary.
OH! Also, do you mind if I post a link to the guild in OW or would you prefer I wait until the guild is named?
And the laptop is spiffy. We got it for his schooling, but he's not allowed to use it O.o So he'll do his homework on it but mostly it's mine to play with!

I am glad that this place is already pretty active, even with the few of us that there are.
My man and i celebrate all that stuff too. We do that half years more so because they aren't near any other major events, where as the full years are.
I'll take a Tee Megumi, even though I think yyou'll soon be able to shut down that fan club's fundraiser. wink wink

We started dating on February 16th, so we tend to skip Valentine's day as we've never really been able to celebrate it in the time we've been together (due to work and school).
Last year, for our 6 month anniversary he bought me our Wii. This year, it's the laptop.

Aww how sweet. We do the real date thing. He bought me a Wii too, but not for any reason that I can figure. But I bought him a PS2 for no reason too. This year I'm getting him an XBox and I get an engagement ring for the six months and Christmas combine. Even though they're nowhere near each other. Its just hard to do gifts from 8000 miles away. Although, I cheated and bought a man kimono. I can get away with it because its also a souvenier.

I pointed out to him tonight that our 2nd anniversary falls on a Monday. And I no longer work Mondays or Tuesday, so I told him he has ample notice to book those days off. This year, we're doing something romantic. Last year we were supposed to but as he's in a band, they had a show that night (it was the drummer's b-day) so all we did was go to dinner. And on top of it, he had to work it. As the guy who should have covered for him stole Rob's idea for the evening to use on his own wife.
He wanted to spend he night in a hotel room with a hot tub lol. Since we celebrate in the winter (until we get married), a hot tub would have been nice. Instead I froze my a** off and ended up sick due to dinner and being there for part of his show.

a**, that sucks. This year will be better. I don't care what we do for ours next year, I'll just be glad to be back together after so long. We could sit at home and do nothing for all I care.
Every now and then when we both have the weekend off he declares a "Queen's Rule" and spends the whole weekend sucking up and doing nice things. He makes me breakfast in bed, plays board games with me (he hates them), takes me shopping in the little shops downtown, and pretty much anything else he can think of. I like those better, because he's just doing it to be nice, not because its an occasion. And he is always well rewarded for his efforts.

Lol, I'm sure you will be. If I can find someone, anyone can.
Its really weird. I sometimes chat with people I knew in high school. Lately it seems that they have all started to settle down, get maried and/or have kids. I've only been out of high school for four years. It seems like they're doing it kind of quick. My man and I will have been dating for longer than it will take me to get my Bachelor's before we get married. Oh well, I guess I'm just slow at these things. Either that or all my friends are settling for second rate. Which is possible.
