THE TICK TOCK INN


This is a recruitment/RP contest thread for staff and residents of the Tick Tock Inn, an open RP setting in Erasmus.

Why do I want to recruit for inn staff members instead of being the staff myself? Well, it all began with my first steampunk, Ari Locke. I was working on her personality and backstory when I realized that I wanted her to be a permanent resident at an inn, but there were no inns on Erasmus (RP-wise) quite yet so I figured I would start one. I knew how I wanted the innkeeper and the cook (the innkeeper's wife) to be, but I didn't want to man the place myself.

So I figured that I would contest away these pre-made steampunks (the innkeeper and the cook) to players who'll enjoy having a stable RP role.

And by pre-made I do mean that I will complete the steampunk art myself. But that also means that there will be a basic character personality already laid out to be followed. Though further creativity in personality and history are allowed.

There is also the open recruitment for one or two more permanent residents at the inn. This is the not a requirement, but it might be fun.

*Note: The inn staff are expected to work with me on organizing the inn and it's function OCC, but are in charge of the place ICC.

-InnKeeper: A large man whose appearance is far more intimidating than he really is, the innkeeper is a kind man with a hard face. There's also been a rumor floating around that he's an ex-military officer or ex-pirate, but who knows? His only love and fear in life is his wife, the inn's cook.

-Inn Cook: Not fat, but large... the cook is a force to be reckoned with. She commands the kitchen with an iron fist, but melts towards any poor soul needing help. She is a nonsense woman, but enjoys the city gossip just as much as any other woman. The cook is a woman who makes everyone and anyone feel at home for she loves to mother people.

-Bar Maid: With an appearance just as deceiving as the cook and innkeeper, the bar maid has a hidden strength to break up any fights and brawls that may happen chance.

... so that's all the pre-made steampunks!


Now for the resident application slots... I'm leaving one to two (possibly three) slots open for permanent residency at the inn.
