All About Giroro

Corporal Giroro is 2nd in command of the Keroro Platoon. He's definitely a trigger happy, explosives-loving alien frog, whose only goal is to complete the total invasion of Pokopen.

He's ambitious almost to a fault, and he is sometimes known as "The Most Dangerous Man in the Universe." He is constantly questioning Keroro on the relativity of their various endeavors [which usually include Gundam models somehow] to the ultimate goal of completing the invasion. Aside from that, he cares about little else.

Except for Natsumi. He fell in love with Natsumi almost as soon as he met her. He became attracted to her because of her cruelty and brutality towards the Keroro Platoon in general. He assessed her to "have the same warrior blood" as he does, and also noted her intense strength, which he wholly underestimated.

Unfortunately, Giroro's love isn't really reciprocated. He never really confessed his love to her, because he didn't need to, he was pretty blatant about it to begin with. Sometimes, however, Natsumi does things that are TOTALLY out of character for her, which leads one to believe she may have feelings for him, as well.

Overall, even though he's fairly single-minded and tends to be over the top with his artillery, Giroro is a pretty lovable character. The fact that his demeanor is so polarized is what makes him likeable. He's so intent on invading the world, but yet, he's fallen in love with what should be his enemy!

Giroro Facts

Inside Giroro's belt is a picture of Natsumi. The belt also happens to be lucky (maybe because of the picture), when he doesn't wear it he ends up turning into a total clutz and can't fire a weapon correctly.
The scar across Giroro's left eye is said to have been given to him by Keroro in a fight.
Keroro seems to know about Giroro's feelings towards Natsumi.
Giroro won't live inside the Hinata's home. He refuses to live under the same roof as the enemy, he claims. So he sleeps in their yard in a tent.
Giroro's chair that he uses when he's outside is actually a cinder block.
Giroro is rarely seen consuming food or beverages. When he is, he's usually sipping hot tea. His usual meal is a slice of canned meat cooked over a fire in the Hinata's yard using a military knife. He also likes a dumpling-like confection [that I don't know the name of].
Giroro can't drink alcohol. On the Keronian New Year's party, they decided to drink. The whole time he lead everyone on that he too was drinking out of a flask, until he was exposed by Moa-chan when she swiped a sip of his drink. It turned out to be water. She splashed just one drop of alcohol into his mouth, and he got knocked out cold.
Giroro is one of the only known Kerons that doesn't have his symbol emblazoned on his chest. I think that the obvious reason for that is the fact that he wears a belt, and therefore doesn't need one.
Giroro befriends a cat, and this cat shows up several times in the series. In Giroro's CD Drama, the cat says she has a crush on Giroro!
