((Here is where I would encourage you to post first, since this is going to be the center of much of the roleplay))
Ry is the largest city in all of Thalassa, located on the northern part of Sol. It is the trading center of the world, and ships from all over Thalassa congregate here to trade their exotic goods. Ry is home to the palace where the royal family of Sol, perhaps the wealthiest and most diplomatically powerful persons in all of Thalassa, reside. It is also home to the most extensive library in all of Sol, as well as the Temple, which stands as a grand altar to the gods and to which religious travelers from all over the world congregate to pay homage to their gods.
Children chase each other around parents' feet, laughing merrily and pausing only to stare into the face of an unusual stranger. Merchants from exotic locations attempt to swindle would-be customers, and the sounds of street performers rise high above the tumult of conversation. In such a bustling and busy city, few would notice a pick pocket nimbly plucking the wallet out of a man's back pocket, or the subtle sobs of a lost child. Yes, it takes little effort to get lost in this city...
Aside from the Library and Temple, there is also the inn, the tavern, and the docks, where the sky ships descend like swans on the surface of the gulf.

Eldrich and Debrah come, returning from a successful mission, they had already reported his success to those who had sent them. As he always does after a successful mission, Eldrich leaves Debrah to do her own things as he heads to the temple to give thanks for his success, and for further protection. He takes note of the elf over at the archery shop, but he does not mention anything or go over there.

Walking into the bright light of the town square, Asmoday looks around while her hands cover her eyes. She thinks to herself, "I need a dark place to gather my thoughts..." So she heads for the tavern.

Debrah shook her head at Eldrich, almost pityingly. She could not understand his obligation to the gods, and she had never known spiritual closeness with them. But her mind didn't linger here long, and she sighed, rubbing the back of her neck. The mission, though still technically considered a success by their employer, had been, in her mind, a failure. The vampires that they encountered had been fledglings, sloppy killers driven by bloodlust who had barely scratched the surface of their new power. Vampires rarely moved in packs, and Debrah had hoped to draw out the ring leader, or at least a few of the more powerful among them. But no. The vampires seemed to smell what was lying in wait for them, so they sent out the disposable troops to be slaughtered. They could always make more fledglings. Such a waste, such a waste. Debrah moved toward the tavern. Human liquors had no real effect on her, but she had to soothe the dryness in her throat somehow. She walked in, sat down, and ordered a glass of red wine, a favorite of hers. She could feel the pressure of her wings withdrawn in her back, and she imagined, idly, allowing them to shoot out from her shoulder blades, cackling as she unsheathed her swords, so thirsty from being denied human blood, and let them drink their fill...Debrah shook her head, clearing her throat between sips of the blood red substance that would never be quite as sweet as blood...

Previous Debrah looked wearily at the other patrons. It was early, and the tavern was very nearly deserted. In the corner, a man dozed, in a drunken stupor, next to an empty mug. A few tables away from him, two men (sky sailors, by the look of them) chatted in hushed tones, not wanting to break the spell of near silence that descended upon the room. "Refill, miss?" the bartender asked, eying Debrah curiously. "Oh! Yes, please," she said, pushing her glass toward him and smiling sweetly. "Slow day, huh?" "It'll pick up later tonight when the ships start coming in," he said. She nodded along, still smiling but no longer listening. Her gaze had shifted to the hooded figure who had wandered in. She thought, again, of the vampires, but she knew that the likelihood of there being a correlation was slim at best. Then, out of the corner of her eye, Debrah spied Asmoday, another abnormality in this bleak corner of the city. Something was off about this new figure, she could tell, but she couldn't put her finger on what...

As Asmoday sat in the tavern, trying to sort out her thoughts, she noticed that she was beeing watched by Debrah, so Asmoday but her money on the table and went over to where Debrah sat. "Hi", Asmoday said in her spine tingling voice as a wicked smile came across her face.

Previous Debrah's eyes flashed, her lips curled up in a smile. "Oh sorry, was I staring?" she said, trying to be as sweet as possible. "Ha-ha...my mind is all over the place today. Well, here you are, stranger, so you might as well pull up a seat."

Eldrich emerges from the temple. He notices Debrah in the tavern and walks over to meet her. Upon entering the tavern, he looks around at the people in there and sighs. He also notices the man dozing off in a drunken stupor. He looks over to the elf that he had seen earlier, but did not make any mention of it. Suddenly, someone catches his eye, sitting next to Debrah is a strange person. He hesitantly approaches. "So, drinking this early in the day, Debrah?" He said, a smile across his face.
