Here, in the Forest of Pasiphae, the pollen sticks to your tongue like sugar. Fairies float like fireflies, giggling as they dart past traveling ears. Springs gurgle, their waters cool and sweet. Here, the air is thick with raw magic. The plants drink it through their roots, and shake it out like beads of sweat. There is a strange scent in the air, and your eyelids are getting heavy...

Rendaal walks into the thick dark forest. He walks along the path and hears high pitched giggling. He turns around to see it to be only a small fairy. He smiles and continues gripping his sword.

Previous Debrah walked, in a manner that could only be described as a "strut", into the forest, her arms outstretched as she allowed the magic of the place to brush against her pores. But something was amiss, and she froze for an instant, shifting glances around her to determine what it was. "What fun," she said, and her rose petal lips curled up in a devilish smile, delighting in the unknown. She rested her right hand upon the hilt of her sword, but she didn't draw it. Not just yet...

Eldrich walks in and looks around, deep in thought. 'Where might it be if it exists? What kind of creatures may be lurking where it is?' He could not shake the thought that maybe something could be around them, watching, waiting for a moment to strike. However, his expression did not portray these thoughts, he looked only as if he was staring blankly into the forest.

Previous Debrah looked over her shoulder back toward Anur, her hand still resting on the hilt of her sword though her pose was considerably more relaxed. "Feh," she said, "Elves would poison this place, sucking up the magic and swatting pixies in the name of 'communing' with nature. Besides," and now Debrah grinned, imagining the prospect, "do you honestly think that the humans of Ry would allow Elves so close to their city walls? Sure, the humans feign peaceful tolerance of your sharp-eared race, but, truth be told, they despise you even more than I do." Debrah sneered now, eyes flashing as the pressure of her wings built up in under her shoulder blades. The spiritual haze that had dulled her in Ry was lifting, and she had no need to feign civility any longer.

"We know they hate us but they also know that if they fight us they'll lose." paused a second "WATCH OUT" said Anur as an arrow was comming at Debrah's head

"And tell me, how is that possible that a large city like Ry would lose to elves, especially since, regardless of what Debrah said, Ry's population is not all human." Eldrich questioned. He then saw the arrow heading for Debrah, but chose not to react, he knew she could take care of herself, and regardless, a single arrow could not slay the likes of her.

Previous Debrah had started moving before Anur had even opened his mouth. Her smile was wicked now, wild and bloodthirsty. Oh, the thrill! In an instant Debrah had unsheathed her longsword, igniting from the moment she freed it from its sheath. In one fluid motion, she moved the sword in the arrow's path and, before the projectile even touched the white hot metal, it burst into flame and fell to the ground, reduced to nothing but soft, white ash. "Big mistake," she said, her wild grin growing. Her target had revealed his location, and Debrah's lava eyes were locked. She jumped in the direction from which the arrow had been shot, her leathery wings shooting out of her back and pushing her higher into the air before she had a chance to descend. She drew her shortsword in her left hand, causing it to ignite with the same hellish flames that surrounded her longsword. She paused, still airborne, and waited for her target to even try to make another move against her.

((He shot a projectile, honey. I can follow its path. I don't even need super powers to do that. Besides, I only call him Valin so that you know who I'm talking about...my character doesn't actually know who he is or what he wants. But, to make you happy, I'll change the last part.))

(Ok, I was going to have him jump down anyways)
Valin Jumped down with a longsword drawn "Hello, my name is Valin and Im here to kill you and the Celestian" said Valin smiling "I am a hunter and you are my prey. The vampires who hired me are giving me quite a lot of stuff to kill you"
"Hmm, so you're an elf Valin, my guess is you're a demon hunter" said Anur calmly hoding out his sword

Previous "Feh," Debrah snorted, pausing for a moment in mid-air, "you're pretty stupid if you honestly thought an arrow could even wound me, Demon-hunting dog." But Debrah wanted action, not dialogue, and she swooped down upon him, swords aimed at him like the talons of a hawk descending on a fat rat.

(How does he know that I'm a celestial? I specifically said my character keeps that hidden.) "Why would vampires hire a demon hunter when they could simply make fledglings to attack, or just turn you into a vampire?" Eldrich questioned, he did not, however wait for a response. "You are foolish in willingly taking up the venture to kill Debrah, many have tried, all have failed. Truly I believe that this shall be over quickly." He let his hand rest on the hilt of his blade, but he did not want to jump into action so readily when Debrah was already ready to tear him apart on her own. Eldrich decided to stay out of the action since the hunter shouldn't know that he may be the secondary target.
