This goes out to the Dom/mes, do any of you have a mark? Something that is of you or you adapted to yourself to be yours. Something you place onto your Sub, so every time they look at it they're reminded of you. I know they have collars for ownership, but do any of you have a mark that you give out too?

I make jewelry, so at some point I will make something for them. Usually short, 16 inch necklace or smaller. It will hold some sort of significance to both of us, and be precious enough to them that they will always wear it. It's visible and something that people will inquire about and I can tell them it's a token that I made or something along those lines. Or grin as they, proudly, explain it was a gift from me.
I even have one waiting for my current playmate until the right time to give it to him.

That's really cool, I feel kind of stupid for not saying what I have. It's a mark I've adapted to myself, it does come from someone else wearing it, but it doesn't hold any significance for this person. Most of you might have seen the picture of this person around Gaia, most don't know who she is, but it's a character from one of the games in Tecmo's Deception series, the game being Kagero: Deception II. The character's name is Millennia, and I've taken the tattoo on her back to be my mark, which I will give to the Submissive I plan to spend my life with, when I find her, and it will go in the exact same spot as in the picture. Millennia

And the current one that is waiting it a Necklace on black leather, with 3 sterling skeleton keys on it.
If you've read Kushile's Legacy series then you might understand that it's an adaption of the House Sharizai emblem.

I wear a lock around my neck, and the guy i'm with (who's also a switch so it works well) wears keys around his neck. it wasnt planned, but it kinda stuck.

My ex boy friend did ask me once if he could scratch in his nick name with a box cutter on my thigh once. He did it to one of his other Ex's to 'mark her' so I guess he wanted to keep it going. I declined and brought up doing something different.
I ended up buying a small master lock necklace and gave him the key. Did the whole Sid and Nancy thing. While we where dating he was the only one with the key and he would keep it in his wallet XD I am just so happy he never lost it. Would have had a masterlock on my neck forever o-o; Which reminds me I need to get that key back..... But ja!

I dont have one currently, but a lot of people in my kind of lifestyle have brands or, at least, tattoos. I've always been most fond of brands.

If I ever find someone I want to keep as mine, I'd probably get a tattoo of a lock with a cobra coiled around it.
My matching tattoo would be a key with a mongoose around it.

He did it to one of his other Ex's to 'mark her' so I guess he wanted to keep it going. Now, see, THAT is what concerns me regarding these permanent marks, especially for those of you who are young. It's definitely *possible* to meet your soul mate when you're 18, 20, 24, etc., but it's also quite possible that you'll go through two or more very serious relationships before you find the person you will be with for the remainder of your life. In this case, RyoRin's *ex* wanted to mark her. He had already marked another *ex*. Am I the only one who is imagining a row of permanent marks forming a ladder up a poor submissive's thigh by the time she's thirty?

Well, IC on Furcadia I've got something I plan to eventually brand my lover with~ But a tattoo of something adapted from that would be nice.. I already know what mark of hers I'd wear.
