Yeah just a poll of what is a rather common trend in the other threads.
Make sure after you vote you tell us why.

Yeah seeing as I voted NO. I think I should justify my choice.
While I will probably watch the whole thing regardless of how consistent it is with the books I will definitely find it difficult to watch if they completely ignore the books. The trailer while it looked good also looked to me like it was favoring the action side over the whole story and plot side of things (and yes i know its supposed to in a trailer but still that's not the point.)
I find that too many movies and TV shows these days focus on trying to get people watching with special effects and action rather than trying to get a story that people will love. The main reason I read SoT is because of its story, while the action parts of it are cool it isn't the thing that draws me to it.
And besides Goodkind has said that it will be inconsistent with the books and that people like us loyal readers will probably be disappointed.

I voted yes. Despite the fact that it will be different to the books and I may complain about all the difference I will still like it. I tend to take things as they come, and seeing as I liked the trailer I should be okay with the show.

I voted no I think the series will be great and I will love watching it and it will definitely give me a chance to get my friends who don't much care for reading to get in on the series but I voted no because I dont think it could be as good as the books because they arent the books, lol. I dont really know how to put it in to words well but I love the books and I have a strong imagination when I read so I already have a set story in my head and of course the series is going to be different but either way Im sure they'll both be good.

I voted NO. Being different from all the people before me, I will NOT watch the series, even if i could. The books are the best series I have ever read so far in my life, and I respect them, and Terry. I think that a lot of the movies and shows coming out about books do nothing to highlight the real-ness of it. (I really don't know if that makes sense) Anyway, I don't like watching anything that was first a book, then a movie (with the exception of HP and LOTR) It ruins the book for me from then on, and I find it really hard to re-read the books without thinking about the movie constantly. There is also no way any film producer person can make a movie even close to Terry's skill with books.

I am not sure so I didn't vote blaugh You see Terry Goodkind seems really involved in this, which is very good since he created the characters and the world. Also the thought of them expanding to tell more of the story makes it sound like it will give you more then the books.
Then there is the trailer which pushes me more towards a no. To me WFR is pretty dark and when I watched the trailer I didn't really feel that. But the trailer might not be exactly how it is.

Yeah, there were things that were pushing me to say no, but with there possibly being more added onto the books, and with Terry's involvement, I was thinking it may be pretty good... though there's every chance I will change my mind after it starts.

I'm not entirely sure they will do that, but it would be funny. And him being on the wizards rock is kinda important.

Im thinking not naked but if they do have him "naked" all you would see is like his bare chest and legs (surprisingly). But I do agree it would be pretty funny. Personally if i walked up and found one of my best friends naked and standing on a rock in a daze i would wet myself laughing and then go call the ambulance
