They are swedish and produce music in the genre of symphonic metal. Christopher Johnsson is currently the only member. He/they (when there was more members) were known to use an entire orchestra and choir, which is credited in the back of the book jackets. They're cool. I reccomend the albums Sirius B and The Secret of the Runes. Their songs tend to be about celtic/greek/roman/egyptian/norse mythology.

I've wanted to listen to them for a good while; they've been on my Last.fm recommendation list for ages, and their name is one letter off of being that of my roommate's(his last name, that is). However, I enjoy symphonic metal less than I used to, so I've yet to bother to find any Therion.
