 IntroductionHello, I am the Guitar Playin Fishie, although most call me Fishie or GPF. I am mangaka artist, or well atleast I call myself one. I'm a writer, none the less. My stories have won me lots of prizes where I live. But, lately, my writing has been down a little bit. I haven't writen a story in a while. I've been focusing on my drawing capabilities and manga. I have two stories I'm currently working on and will not draw another. If you work on too many projects, nothing gets done. I learned the the hard way.
The first is a fantasy story called Releqium. Releqium began whenever my skills where just starting to get good, so the artwork on the first pages aren't as good as they would be if I drew them with my current skill level. I am on page 69 of that mangaka and hope to upload the pages. It's my favorite out of the two manga's, but I got really lazy and stopped making backgrounds for it after page 30ish or so. Horrible, yes I know, but my goal for Releqium is to get a professional redraw it. The manga I'm working on will serve as a rough draft.
Next is a manga me and my friend David began out of doodling. I'm teaching him how to draw... Or better said how to not suck at it. I told him about how mangaka's improve your drawing skills because they force you to get better. While doing so, he brain stormed an idea. HardLife. A story about 2 friends trying to regain the honor of their dead brothers gang. I didn't like it at first, but as he kept talking, I began to think. I could do alot with a story like this. So, I decided to work on it as a side project. I'm on page 21 currently and I have to say, its funnier then Releqium. But, Releqium isn't really a funny story. I plan to make the whole comic myself, back grounds and everything.

 PlotReleqium is the story of 17 year old Kento Ideko and 18 year old Tyler Ideko, two demon hunters. On a hunt, they become involved in a group of demons called the Vult. After killing one of their members, they become Vult's new target. The Light Guild, the government and ruling power of this world, has hired Kento and Tyler to exterminate the Vult. Or, better said, they had no choice. It was either kill the Vult, or be killed by them. The Light Guild is a corrupt organization that rules over the world with an iron fist. They plan on killing off all the Dark creatures, which not only includes demons, but vampires and any other creature of evil you can think of. The Darkness race is not evil though, just different. The Light Guild has taken all of their once owned land, and plans on wiping them off the face of the planet, along with another race of beings, the Anima. The Anima are half human and half animal. They live in the northern mountains, hiding from the Light Guild. And so, Kento and Tyler do their bidding and head for the Vult's base, not knowing that as soon as they finish, they will become the Light Guilds target.
What you think is good is evil, what you think evil is is good. It twists the origional plot of old, turning the good guys into the enemy. Light is no longer its name sake. I made sure the story had plenty of twists and shocks. The world is filled with bandits and thief's, willing to kill you if you even look at them the wrong way. The Darkness creatures have been forced into hiding, and only a few are fighting back against the Light Guild. With them, Demon's have become the front line fighters. They are the most aggressive of all the races, and will not stand their oppressors. So, Demon hunters and slayers appeared, willing to take out the threat. Soon, it will lead to an all out war. Meanwhile, a mysterious third party group has appeared, calling themselves "Saviors of the world". Their goal, to cleanse the world of the evil inhabitants. No, not just the Darkness people. Everyone.

I have the first chapter of Releqium already uploaded, but you can barely read the text. You can try, but... yeah...

I hate small text... hurts my eyes xP.
Can't wait till it's done though, sounds like an interesting story and I'm getting really curious what your drawing style is like

Well, if your expecting a well drawn inked comic with correct panels and such... I'll have to dissapoint you. Both comics are un-inked and the panels aren't set up the best. Espescially the first few pages of Releqium. Its starts off okay, then... Gah!

I didn't expect that, a lot of people don't have inked pages and all. Besides, you're here to improve and show your work right? This is the way to do that^^
(sometimes I like sketchy art more than clean lineart, just cos it has this creative feel to it)
