Okay, so I'm working on a ShikaNeji ficcie (am soo gonna finh the farm one, I promise. Just...this bunny demanded to be written and kept getting in the way 'til I sat down and wrote it) and in this one, they have a daughter. I dun explain whether 'tis adoption or mpreg- I leave it purposefully ambiguous so the reader can choose their own explanation.
Anyway, I need a name for her. I keep changing it and I thought I'd ask for y'alls opinions. She's 2 years old and looks like a female version of Shikamaru- she's even lazy like he is and will have shadow jutsu when she gets older.
Here's the name's I've come up with:
Shikumari
Shikemari
Shikeri
Shikari
Shikukari
I want something that'll sound like Shikaku and Shikamaru's names- something along those lines, and your opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Why not something simple like Shikako? Or is that too much like Shikaku?
I think it should start with 'shika' anyway. Y'know, in keeping with the trend.
Incidentally, I've been having the want to draw a Shikamaru+Neji+child picture lately ._.'' Only I had more in mind an adopted Hyuuga child, to keep with the bloodline; but take Shikamaru's name or something. Of course I want to draw them older, so that Shika will have some sexy face!fuzz >w< eee~

Shika with face fuzz is definately smexy. I think youre right- it should start with "Shika" anyway, just to keep up with family tradition.
I kinda like Shikako, it's shorter and better than anything I've come up with so far. I also kinda like Shikaru.
Haha, one thing that would be awesome is when a upset/frustrated Neji yells, "Shika!" They'll both answer! xp

Shikaru it is. I like Shikako, too, but if I use it, some retarded noobs are gonna be like "OMG! U is retardedes! Shika's dad's name is spelled ShikakU not ShikakO! U is soo stooopids!@"
Never mind the fact that Shika's dad isn't even *in* the fic- noobs are remarkably stupid like that.
And on a completely random note, I don't want to go to work tomorrow.

Ten: Actually, I'm sort of looking forward to school since I have interesting classes that I'm doing fairly well in this year. Now, all I need is to keep up with the homework.... (Off topic!)
I just read this, but I also love the idea of two "Shika"s turning their head when Neji calls that out. Now...I'm really hoping that Shikaru wouldn't woinder if her names was being called out if Neji let out a passionate "Shikaaaa....."
...I know you guys were thinking it.

haha, for once your mind's in the gutter, Sanee- I didn't even think of that lol. But that would be so ROFLMAO awesome if Shikaru, when she's a little older, hears that and walks in and sees her parents -ehem- Oh, I should totally put that in as an omake/ funny lil skit at the end of "Vindicated"
Oh, and I kinda need names for Neji and Shika's other two kids- two little Hyuga babies, one boy, one girl.
Hikaru? Urgh, that's all I got right now...*bangs head off desk*
