The Elneth Woods lie just north of a section of the Tarin Mountains, but are considerably lower in elevation. Warm year round, the Elneth woods are a lush forest home to many animals, fruits, and useful herbs - yet the humans stay away. It is one of the remaining strongholds of the elves, and the lake within is one of the elves' sacred sites, and the humans have long since come to the conclusion they'll never be able to eradicate this forest as they did the forests of Kalinar to the south. Instead, they spread rumors of evil magic in the area, so that no human child would stray in and be slain. Map Towns/cities, in decreasing order of population: Archevelt Allengarr Shinye Torneth Yelnafte Talinhom Note: All of these towns and cities have populations of solely magical and borderline creatures, with an extreme majority of elves. Talinhom's population consists only of elves, and very few of them except during the five major magical rites/ celebrations of the year that elves celebrate (Jinkal [midwinter], Talnal [spring equinox], Tornal [midsummer], Filnal [autumn equinox], and Felnix [leap year's day - every six years in Lienae, in the winter]) when all the elves within traveling distance gather in Talinhom for the celebrations.

Elrazon was waking up. She started to open her eyes but quickly shut them again because of the sun light. "I forgot I slept outside last night" she said under her breath. She eventually sat up and rubbed her eyes until they opened. Then reached into her pack and took out a piece of bread. "Ahh...Breakfast", taking a bite she looked around for a water source. She was quite hungry since she practiced all last night on her aim with her bow and didn't eat dinner. She stood up, took a sip of water, then packed up and headed home to great Komke. Elrazon was with hin 45 minuets of home so it wouldn't take her long.

<< Nenhin - Elneth Woods - Gantarin >>
The horse slowed down to a calm trot when the path became smaller, the trees lower and the weeds started to have thorns. Anaylen did have a hidden home, in a valley no human knew about. To be honest, who the hell would use this path? If it still was a path? Anaylen stopped the horse, leaning over its neck. She got irritated by this and perhaps she would use her pendant. After thinking about it, she decided not to. Anaylen was too afraid of a human, a lost human. Or perhaps a snitch. It was about 30 minutes later when Anaylen stood upon a normal path again, the trees high and the weeds whitout thorns. After a quick check if she was still unharmed, which she was, the horse galopped northeast, towards Archevelt. Her desire was to go to the Tarin Mountains, but she knew there was no way in there unless she knew the mountains well or if she could fly high. And as both aspects missed, it was only death in the snowy passes. Galatriel quickened its pace after a small kick in the flanks, and now, Anaylen was glad her father had send her this special horse. For Galatriel was a horsenoble, one of the quickest and lightest around.

The sun kissed her delicate skin just for the last time today, as the moon awoke from her sleep. With that, the pendant around Anaylen's neck, the tear of the moon, started glowing a steady silvery light. It guided her through the forest, under the black shaded roof of leaves. The horse's pass was no more than a calm trot, for the both of them needed to rest. They needed a good place to stay. But Anaylen did not worry, even with the knowledge many predators came out at night. Her pendant would guide and protect, and soon it would have found a good place to sleep. Her gloved hands fiddled a little with the leather reins as Anaylen pulled them to the left, away from the path into the bushes. She did not know why, but something told her she had to. It was not long after when Anaylen stepped into a smalll wooden house, which seemed left in a hurry. The chairs were still in front of the fireplace, a plate on the table and a goblet next to it. Her ears perked when she heared the sound of Galatriel scraping his hooves over the black soil filled with autumnal leaves. It was a good sign, for now she knew the horse would go to sleep soon enough..

A yawn escaped from her soft lips, as she turned around once more. The first rays of light touched her skin, and made her pendant glimmer even more than it already did. She opened her eyes and blinked a few times before looking at the ceiling that once used to be clean. A grin crossed her face, as she remembered being on a travel again. Well, she wouldn't leave Elneth forest in this time of year with so little amount of money with her. Not long after she sat on the porch eating some berries, which she had gotten before. Galatriel ate grass contently, and together they would travel farther for Archevelt. She figured they would arrive tomorrow, if they were lucky deep in the night tonight.

The horse sped away, leaving the small house behind to be forgotten again. The autumnal leaves were blown up by the rushing by of the horse. The duo was like a white shade, too quick to see who or what they really were. Perhaps an elf could see what they were, as long they were not seen by a man. The riding was like a rhtyhm of a dance, something that continued on and on for hours, whitout loosing its steady motions. It was the only predictable in her life right now. A smile was upon her delicate face the whole time, and it grew broader when the sounds of Archevelt grew louder and louder to her. << Archevelt, Gantarin Continent.>>

<< Archevelt - Elneth Woods - Gantarin >>
Anaylen trotted through the forest, over the long paths. She was going southeast from Archevelt, to the hills. If she was lucky she would be able to go around the Tarin mountains without too much trouble, and if there was trouble she would go over the beach. But somehow, she disliked the idea of going over the beach. The words of the riddle echoed through her head, and kept her pondering about the words. She just hoped that she was going the right way, and that not the East was meant. Anaylen fiddled a little with the leather reigns in her gloved hands, as the duo went on and on. She reminded herself that she had seen almost every corner of this forest and that it was unlikely to get lost here, but somehow there were many fears within her right now. So many things that could go wrong, so little time given to her...

The sun was leaving them again, going down to the horizon to sleep. The colors in the forest had changed, from the melancholic autumnal colors, to those but now enhanced by the mystical colors of the sky; red, orange and a touch of pink. Not that Anaylen could see much of it now, as she rode under a roof of leaves. The night was falling, and Anaylen had to find a place to eat something. They would not sleep this night; she disliked this part of the forest and this hour to go to sleep. There were no good, hidden places where you could stop and sleep now. She kicked the horse in his flanks and it sped away in a quick gallop. Time passed slowly, but quick enough to make Anaylen search. It was not long after when the woman sat against a tree, eating her fruits. The horse ate whatever it found on the ground, such things as the few mushrooms.

It was not long after dinner when she had mounted Galatriel again, and rode South East. Her soft and fair voice was carried over the wind and enhanced this dark forest with a mystical and other worldly air. The light of the Illumen protected her from the dangers in the dark and illuminated her way. Her robes flew around her, as they made their way; calmly. If one came upon her, he or she would think she was an elf who wandered through the night and sang about something sad. But in fact she was an Illindi on a queste, and to let time pass and let the night fade, she sang a song she used to sing with her kin about a brave King in the war against the people from the Northern Wastelands. Her voice was so charming and so fair, it was something the Illindi were known for when they travelled. The light of the tear in the silver rays around her neck gave this extra melancholy to her, and made her skin even more porcelain alike.
"Ethlerion was an Illindi-King and of who we sing: the last whose realm was fair and free between the Mountains and the Sea.
His sword was long, his lance was keen, his shining helm afar was seen; the countless stars of heaven's field were mirrored in his silver shield.
But long ago he rode away, and where he dwelleth none can say; for into darkness fell his star in Dunedain where the shadows are."
The words slipped over her lips slowly, in her own ancient language. She looked up to the sky, hoping to see the stars of her friends. But the nightsky was veiled in the darkest clouds and thus Anaylen watched the road again. The road through the dense forest had become a grey, broad line. The hooves of Galatriel tapped upon the sleeping earth. Calmly they proceeded, where to they did not know.
