Lately Riley had been hangingout with one of her new friends, Alterio. However, he'd mentioned his sisters a few times and how they loved to compete and be silly. So well, Riley, being the Tokoro she is, wants to get to know one of them. She loves geting to know others and healthy competitions! She had three brothers, so it's not really fair to play with them all the time.
"Diversi!" Riley squeaked, spotting Alterio's sister. She dashed over to her with a small on her face. "It's nice too meet you finally! Alterio told me all about you! I have to say, it sounds like you have an entertaining life!" She said, laughing lightly to herself.

Diversi was lazing about, strategizing her diversionary acts when she heard someone call out her name. She turned abruptly, squinting her eyes against the sun to make out that the shape racing toward her was another Tokoro. She stood, a huge grin on her face, and confronted the other, "Well, with colors like this on my pelt, how can life not be entertaining?"

"Well! I hear the news directly from your brother! I'm Riley by the way!" Riley said, smirking lightly to the other female. Alterio hadn't been making things up when he said Diversi was colorful! Riley was almost jealous. She had a very like fur color, but like her parents, she wore clothes to over up the pale colors.
"Wanna play Di?" She asked, tilting her head lightly.

"Well, ya already know I'm Diversi!" Diversi's grin grew wider, "Thanks to my brother..." Riley seemed like a fun Tokoro to play with so she gave her an eager nod, "Whadda ya wanna play?"
She shook her head to the side to get the bit of hair she did have out of her eyes. Diversi had to admit, she was a tad envious of the other girl's mane. But then again, there must be a whole load of twigs getting stuck in that pretty hair all the time.

"Let's race!" Riley suggested, pointing to a little clearing not far away. "You can run on the ground, swing though the trees, or do whatever you like!" She annoucned the rules and pulled back, ready to start.
"And...." She paused to give time for Diversi to get ready, "GO!" She yelled, dashing off into the trees.

Diversi shot off as soon as Riley yelled "GO," taking to the trees as well. She twirled around the tree trunk going up, keeping at a decent speed. When she got up into the denser branches, she kept up her pace and darted through the branches, noting the direction Riley went, "Where's the finish line?" she shouted as loud as she possibly could over the wind beating against her.

"The little clearing up there! First to break the trees wins!" Riley said, smirking lightly, she preferred to swing from all the trees rather then run in the tops. She kept up an even pace in the beginning, but as they got closer to the little clearing she picked up her speed.

Diversi picked up her pace almost instantly, seeing that the clearing wasn't too far off. As she got closer, however, she found herself wearing down. She pushed herself harder regardless of that, making sure she was at least keeping up to Riley. She wouldn't want to lose and make a bad first impression on her brother's friend. The clearing was getting closer still and upon glancing about she found that Riley and she were head to head. Divey let out an irritated grunt, a tie might be better than losing but she played to win.

Finally! They both crossed that finish line. Riley hadn't really been paying much attention to where Diversi was, so it shocked her a bit when they were neck in neck, but Riley thought she was just a little quicker, but she didn't want to be conceited. So She flashed Diversi a big smirk.
"Congrats girl! You were awesome, I just barely got behind there for a second. I guess I pushed myself a little too far!" Riley gave her a playful little wink and wagged her long tail.

Diversi returned Riley's smirk, "Yeah, you were pretty good yourself! I don't think I pushed myself far enough..." She muttered the last bit under her breath. It was a tie, after all. 'No crying over spilt mango juice', she supposed. She was a tad flustered at the even competition, but realized that this was an opportunity to push herself farther and make herself better. Her smile widened into one of genuine quality, "we should go again some time!"
