My friend has one that's a similar shape. We call it Sherlock. xD reminded us of the old-fashioned pipes, you know?

I don't know if this will be helpful at all, but I named my first piece Cream Tangerine, after a lyric in the Beatles song Savoy Truffle. :3 And yeah, I think it just has to come out while you're smoking it.
Your piece kind of reminds me of that house Gaudi built in Barcelona, the one that looks like it's a water dragon thing?... or maybe Chihuly. Either way your pipe kind of makes me think spiny sea creature.
