Starscream swore vilely as his audio receptors were assaulted mercilessly by the deafening roar of thunder, dark storm clouds churning overhead. What had first appeared to be a light shower, perhaps a small downpour, had quickly become a full-out tempest. He had nearly immediately been grounded for fear of being struck out of the air by lightning.
The rain was more an inconvenience than anything else, running smoothly down his metal frame or draining through his waterproof systems, so Starscream first thought he could simply sit down and wait it out, but the storm only grew worse and worse the longer he waited. Now, he worried even sitting in the grasslands was dangerous - he was like a lightning rod with his metal body as the largest target in a field of nothing but grass as far as he could see. He knew he was waterproof, but he was quite certain he was not lightning-proof.
Unfortunately, with his size and shape, shelter was hard to come by. After finally making his way to the rocky outcroppings leading from the grasslands to the mountains, Starscream kept his optics trained for any caverns or even large boulders he could tuck himself against to protect himself against the tempest, but nothing was big enough to accommodate him, and the storm was only growing more violent and so was his panic.

Twincast didn’t plan out this day very well… had he bothered to check the environment before he left the cave, he would not be stuck in the growing storm, trying to clamber up the wet rocky slopes, with the threat of lightning, and trying to keep a tiny pink Pygmy from being blown away with the powerful wind. Keeping her clutched to his chest took away the use of one of his claws, making the journey over soggy rock and loose gravel that much more difficult. But the blue Eobot kept his cool, paying no mind to the booming thunder around him, noticing very easily that it was getting closer to the aria, and that was very dangerous. Grunting thickly as he dug his talons into the ground as a powerful gust of wind struck him in the broad chest, causing him to slide back a little. Snapping his beak a couple of times and trying to hobble forward to get a better grip. ”We’re nearly back Rosanna, just hold on okay?” he tried to call, his voice being swept away by the wind.

Starscream finally managed to find a large enough boulder to tuck himself behind, but it was really no use - the wind was too unpredictable and violent and only swirled the rain around him, mostly into his face. It also did not shelter him from the lightning or thunder.
This would not do - this simply would not do, but what else was there to try? Quickly running out of options, Starscream started further up the mountain, letting out a startled shriek when lightning struck a tree not far from him. Panicked now, he started scrambling over the gravel and rocks in a desperate attempt to find something which would keep him from being the next victim.

Unable to keep himself from jumping, and ducking down when he heard lightning clap down onto the earth, allot closer then he was comfortable with, but it was the sounds he picked up after the thunder registered in his audios that caused him to look around, frowning in confusion. Twincast was not known for his amazing visual sensors, and the storm was making it very difficult to see much of anything in good detail. But he heard it very well, and after a moment of studying, he realized that there was another Eoghan trying desperately to get out of the storm. What was interesting about that though, was that it was registering as a mech Eoghan, Optics narrowing slightly, of all the Eoghan he expected to meet up here, he had not expected another mech, but that suited him just fine, he was far more likely to assist another mech then an organic, the organics had allot of places they would be able to call shelter, but due to the Eobot’s size and bulk however, it was allot more difficult to come by, and not to mention there metal bodies were more of a liability with lightning this close. Lifting his head up, and adjusting the volume in his speakers so he could make sure his volume was heard over the storm. “Calm yourself!” he called out, heaving himself forward onto another rock, a small pink masked and shielded head turning to peer out curiously from his claws. “Proceed east west for 50 feet. there is a cavern that will get you out of this storm!”

As a flight-gifted mech, Starscream's vision was better developed than his hearing, but even then, all he could make out against the rain stinging against his face was a pair of blue optics cutting through the darkness and a dark silhouette with two horn-like protrusions on its head. That, combined with the way the other mech - and it had to be a mech to be that big - raised the volume of his voice, made Starscream think it must have been Jazz. Primus, how did they keep running into each other like this?
Still, he was not about to complain when he registered exactly what the other mech said. Shelter! Starscream did not bother to reply, knowing his voice would be lost in the wind. Instead, he turned to follow the directions given to him, crimson optics bright to see through the darkness. He could not resist letting out a happy noise when he saw the cavern in question, and he scrambled over the rocks to duck inside, pleased to discover it was plenty big enough for even an Eoghan his size, his wings in no danger of scraping against the rocks.

Twincast didn’t have time to wonder if the mech had heard him, or made it to his cave all right all his concentration going back to pushing forward though the storm, his progress slow, but steady. It was to his luck though, that he made it to his destination right as a bolt of lightning flashed, and the instant thunder howled deafening though the sky. Staggering in, before straitening himself up and turning to look over his shoulder at the storm outside. Twincast remained there, studying it for a moment before he turned back into his cavern. Still keeping the pygmy to his chest, now starting to wonder if the other mech he saw had made it. Blue optics glowed softly in the darkness of the cavern, he could read that there was someone in there, but he could not make out more then a shadowy form. Frowning softly as he shuffled in further.

Starscream was standing still halfway down the cavern, letting all of the rain drain out of his systems as he worked on scraping mud off of his once pristine paint. It was going to take a long soak in the lake to get all of this organic muck off of him.
Starscream lifted his head when he heard the familiar scrape of metal against rock behind him, and he turned to face Jazz only to jump and take a startled step back when his optics fell on not a white mech but a dark blue one. This was not Jazz! Starscream had never seen this mech ever before as far as he could recall.
Still...beggars can't be choosers. Whoever this dark mech was, he did tell the seeker where to find shelter. He was pretty well stuck here until the storm passed over.

“Ah, you made it” he said, his vocalize had a filtered radio quality to it, though it sounded like it had been modified to try and tune up most of the interferences that caused that particular tone. His attempt to make it more clear, with as he reached a claw out to touch something, strips of light starting to glow along the walls, illuminating the inside of his home. The blue helmet tilted curiously the moment he saw the other mech in better detail. It was a Deceptihan, he could tell that right away, and a seeker nonetheless. Twincast remained still for a moment, looking over this mech, a little surprised, before he just grinned and continued in, lowering his claw from his chest and uncurling it to gently place the tiny pink Femme onto a dry rock.
Rosanna shook herself out once she was placed on her own feet, turning her tail in front of her and with a small click, parted some of the armor on it, to relive a little heart shaped mirror, starting to check herself over.
Twincast looked away from the Pygmy, and started further into the cave towards the Deceptihan. ”well now, its been quiet a while since I've seen a seeker, I must admit.”

The first thing Starscream noticed was that he was pinned. If he needed to leave, the new mech was blocking the only escape. That caused a pang of panic to stab his spark, but he forced himself to remain calm - an action which was helped by the surprise and confusion which hit him when he saw the tiny pink and white form deposited on the rock.
Pygmies were...rare, especially on Cybertron. To see a mech pygmy here was quite jarring. It was shocking enough to know so many refugees from Cybertron were here in the first place, but a pygmy too?
The blue mech's voice brought Starscream out of his thoughts, and his dark beak turned down in a frown when he was addressed. "...all mechs are not as...common as they used to be."

Twincast just grinned a little softer, glancing over at Rosanna before he made his way toward one of the walls of his cave, shaking out his wrists one by one before he reached out to activate a couple more machines against the wall, low powered since they run off a generator… but it was the best any of them could hope to get out here. ”Unfortunately. But I still see some from time to time.” He said, glancing back over at the Seeker. ”See less of the Deceptihan however. Were have you all been hiding?”

Starscream backed himself against the rock wall opposite the strange mech as he glanced briefly around when he could see better. This mech certainly seemed to have been here a while if he had the time and opportunity to install lights in a cavern of all places. Was he one of the first to arrive here? Or was he just that resourceful?
"I'm the only one I know of who survived," he very reluctantly admitted. He had only seen Jazz and Bumblebee, and the way this one spoke obviously indicated he was an Eobot. As far as Starscream knew, there were no other Deceptighans besides himself. "Who are you?" he finally demanded. If he was going to share company with an Eobot until the storm passed he wanted to know who he was.

Twincast noticed of course when Starscream moved himself against one of the stone walls. A clear indication that the Mech was not very comfortable with this situation, Twincast could not have that now, they were going to be stuck in here together for a while, and perhaps he can get the other Mech to lighten up. After all, the seeker looked like he could make good company. “Twincast” he said, tapping the machine when he was finished, and holding out a small energon cube to the seeker. “My name is Twincast.”
”I’m Rosanna” the little Pygmy piped in, the armor over her mirror snapping back into place and swishing behind her happily. The little Femme did not have a face that could be seen, but that in no way seemed to hinder her from showing her happiness.
Twincast chucked when she said that “yes, and that’s my little Rosanna” there was a great amount of fondness in his voice, and the way he glanced over at her, before his gaze returned to the seeker. “And you are…?”

At this point, Starscream was all but pressed against the rock wall from wariness. There was something almost...sleazy about this mech he could not quite put his talon on, something about him which made the cables in the seeker's wings twitch. Then again...how much of that was really intuition, and how much was simply his dislike of being around others no matter who they were?
All thoughts of leaving or further questioning himself and his decision to stay left when he saw what Twincast held in his talons. All Starscream could do was stare at it for a moment in disbelief. Energon! His systems were forced to adapt to this organic world when he was stranded here, his fuel tanks adapted to turning organic products such as meat, water, and vegetation into a usable form of fuel. He had not even seen, much less had, energon since Cybertron.
And Twincast, an Eobot, was just giving it to him? Starscream's shocked crimson gaze finally drifted up from the cube and back to the mech before him, his surprise and confusion evident on his face as he stammered in answer, "S...Starscream..."

Twincast frowned a little with the seekers obvious distrust and apprehension, though if he was right about there not being anymore Decepticon, something he knew to be false, he had been alone for quite some time, Twincast could not be surprised if he was the first Mech the Deceptihan had seen in a very very long time. "Well Starscream," he said, gesturing his talons out to the seeker once more, to show that he was offering the energon to him. "I'm not going to attack you or anything, so you have no reason to look so mortified, I assure you" he said in a gentle voice, trying to coax Starscream into relaxing.
this statement caused the pygmy to tilt her head at Twincast, then look back at Starscream curiously "are you scared? we didn't mean to scare you!" she said, sounding upset at the idea that they might have frightened him.

Starscream shifted where he stood a few times, automatically offended at the realization that Twincast could see his fear, but he forced his initial reaction down, instead just twitching his wings a few times and giving the pink pygmy a small frown before he eyed the energon again. Hesitantly, he reached out to take it in his own talons. Primus, it had been so long since he had energon...
