Lots of people seem to be of the mind that it was an abomination.
I never saw the actual film. There was a commercial for it on one of my favorite movies (I'm not sure which, but it had to be one of my favorites because I saw it ALL THE TIME) as a kid. So I guess it stuck in my head.
