If I can beat the minimum times before I go to Basic, I should be doing good, right? I still have a little way to go with that though. Besides making running a habit- every day, same time, etc. does anyone have any recommendations? Like right now I'm only running a mile and a half. I'm thinking when I get to the point that it's a piece of cake, I should make it three miles every day- until that's relatively easy too. But that's all a long way off right now. >sigh<

I would get to work on endurance. Yesterday Tony had to run 6.8 miles.

Well, today I went running even though my ipod was acting screwy. I hadn't realised how attached I was getting to the thing until I found myself almost seriously considering not running just because I didn't have my music fix. But I ran anyway... 1.5 in 15.36. It's embarassingly bad... >is determined to improve the &*^%#*@ time<

tony had to run like 11 miles today, even though he has a nasty sinus infection, which I think is now bronchitis.

Yeesh... Not fun. All the best for Tony's speedy recovery!
In other news, I didn't run today because I had to go take the ASVAB. I did PDG! AFQT=96. So now I'm going through the AFSC list and narrowing down my interests.

If your running for endurance you should add more miles every week as you run.
You will be able to run faster, your recorvery time will be better, and well you won't be dead tired biggrin

Add a lot more miles. We run 10. Sometimes 12. A very, very, very easy day (think pre-pt test day) is a four mile run for us.
