The very thing you strive for ... I swear to you that this video is 100% legitimate. It's been taken from a highly reputable source, the BBC. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/edinburgh_and_east/7562773.stmIt just shows you that if something stands still long enough, it doesn't matter whether you're man or beast, you will be knighted. I'm thinking of putting one of my cats in the military. Dame Twinkle, whaddya think? ... is the thing that makes you blind

>.> I know those things are done with the best intention, all fun and games and that stuff. But still. Things like that realy scratch my nerves, it's disgracefull. Blah oh well, I s'pose I'll stick to the american version of knighthood for fame (being on reality TV)

The British are catching up there too. The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, was only elected because he was popular on some TV panel show. D:
I'd hate to be a Norwegian right now.

Didnt the english knight Elton John? He's as closed to a prancing penguin as I've ever seen.

That's nothing. Here in the US, in a couple of rural towns, they've made a dog, and even a goat, MAYOR of the bloomin' town! eek

The very thing you strive for ... Elton John. D:
A goat would be harmless. Elton John has had a lifetime of a pop career, hence destroying people's eardrums for ... 30-40-ish years? ... is the thing that makes you blind

The very thing you strive for ... Thanks be to God both of my parents are scarily anti-pop. No Elton John fer me! Instead we have trad music on all the time. It's not bad, but it's really for dancing and there simply isn't enough room for set-dancing in the back of our car. ... is the thing that makes you blind

I just love how the text under the video is all serious about it.
"The proud penguin was on his best behaviour throughout most of the ceremony, but shortly before the ritual was concluded and possibly suffering a bout of nerves he was seen to deposit a discreet white puddle on the ground."

No. neutral
You'd be knighted if you promised not to leave a discreet white puddle somewhere in that room.

ninja Hmm... I dunno... I kind've WANT to leave a discreat white puddle somewhere in that room. It calls to me like a big cold bottle of orange cream soda. Or a pushy hooker that hangs out in front of a police station.

I don't think the public would take too kindly to finding your discreet white puddle...
