Yeah so I'm thinking after I'm done getting my AA in Child Development, I might want to major in Lib. Arts and minor in law. Cause I have two career paths:
1. I can work as a pre-school teacher for a few dozen years and then slowly become a director of a pre-school.
2. Be a pre-school teacher for a bit (like four years), go on to elementary school, and when I'm burnt out of that, move on to family law practice.
or I guess I could mix that up.

I can say that I am fortunate enought to know my path is solid. I am a performer. I have been in music since I was three and now I working on a music performance degree. I am also a christian and I feel called into ministry. Plus I love foreign culture and learning about new people, not to mention I am big into traveling. So I am also working on a World Missions minor. So basically I want to be a missionary to the musicians of the world. It is really neat because it is not something commonly persued, so I will kind of be a type o pioneer. I love it!

During my whole high school I couldn't make up my mind on what to study next.
Then I ended up at the university that specializes in Pedagogics, my main branch being Czech [that's my first language] +literature and German. And when I finish it I can be a teacher of these subjects at a high school.
I don't know if it's the right job for me... but I like languages and I have never been 100% sure about what I want to do.

When I was in college I was so set on becoming an Architect, then one day sitting in class I realized I did not want to sit in an office building all day for like ever.
I changed my major to Liberal Studies with an emphasis in PE and Math.
Now I am a teacher at a private school where I teach PE. I have a master's degree so that if I ever want to I can teach at the college level Math or Physical Education. I also coach swim and water polo so I have another back up of something to do.
A suggestion to when picking your major- make sure it is something you can see yourself doing for like 10-15 years cause other wise you are wasting good money on a major that you hate.

 I took forever to pick my major too. I started as a music major, but I'm really not a performer--- I'm more of a composer & arranger. There was a large amount of performance necessary for the major, and even the audition. You had to sight-sing to even get into the major. I can't sight-sing because I played percussion all through high school, so I can read rhythms really well, but reading notes takes me a while. I play by ear.
So anyway ... I wound up in Earth & Space Sciences ... since science was always my strongest subject in high school. smile I'm going to go into teaching. I'm considering going back to school someday for an engineering degree as well.
