Flecks of darkness were visible in the eyes of the child. The eyes that could pierce into the soul of any individual, the eyes that could see the very essence of others lives. Her eyes were what made her strong, and what tended to scare others the most. For the dead gaze of hers displayed a look that sent shivers down the spine of just about any human being. One could not help but be intimidated by her fierce looks. She was not the supposed child most would think she should be. There was no glint in her eyes or smile on her lips. Instead, an expression void of expression was fixed upon her young features. This had been due to the life she had led; the power that she had allowed to consume her life. There was no turning back, she had become a twisted individual that carelessly pushed others aside. She would treat her roommate no differently of course.

Shouhei was his name. Male. Thirteen years old. Alina had said that she had choose him as her roommate due to the age similarity, as if that mattered. To Lily age meant nothing; her maturity caused her to act older than all the students of the school. A number failed to make her immature, but she knew it would be quite different for her roommate, hence her irritation at the situation. Having to room with a student was one thing, but having to room with a kid was an even worse situation. The poor boy would receive no mercy from the heartless child, for his feelings meant nothing to her. Other Alliance members were taken the 'let's be friends' approach to the students, though for her it was quite different. Emotions were something she could not even fake and she wouldn't attempt to do so either.

Slowly, the girl approached the couch in the room, her small slender body allowing itself to sit down upon it. Waiting, she moved motionlessly, allowing her hands to rest upon her lap and her gaze to be fixed ahead of her. Like a doll, Lily sat, waiting, just waiting.

Shouhei walked down the hall awkawardly reading the map carefully to look for his dorm room. Anxious of the place around him and still wildly curious at the various devices he discovered around the campus he eventually made his way towards his destination. Dorm Sixteen. Gulping down anxiety he slowly opened the door his shoulderbag slinging downwards and touching the ground as he peeked at the girl. Rather itimidating but Shouhei didnt seem to mind as long as she didnt try to kill him.

Walking into the room he set his bag onto a bed to the left of Lily's with a clear view outside the window wondering what Lily would be like. He made his way towards a chair and sat down looking at Lily smiling awkwardly. "L-Lily..?" he asked softly.

The dark gaze of Lily shifted towards the boy who had entered, a mask void of expression staring towards him. The boy appeared worse than she believed he could be. Yes, he was young, but he also looked painfully good. No, she did not mean that as in attractive, it was in the sense that there wasn't remotely a dark thing about the boy. If her roommate had been a bit more dismal there wouldn't have been too much of a problem, but dealing with a boy such as himself was not something she wished to do.

"Yes, that it is my formal name." She replied to the boy, her eerie voice lacking any sort of emotion. She was far more of a robot than an human being. "You must be Shoutei." She already had knowledge of the boy, for any faculty member had been given the oppurtunity to read the files of each student. It was an advantage to them, one that would greatly help them when it came to smitting each and every unfortunate being in the school.

Shouhei nodded slowly jerking slightly as he did so unsure if he was doing it right. Letting his feet kick the air he put on a slightly more comfromtble smile at the girl and opened his mouth to speak. "It a pleasure t..to met yu.." he said awkwardly. Scratching the back of his head he chuckled nervously.

"Still mew 't talkin.." he explained as he leaned back against the chair nervously. "Wy do yu look so sad?" he asked.

Sad? That word simply made no sense to her. She neither showed it in her expression or felt that emotion. However, she could see why the boy would say such a thing, considering most took her lack of emotion as her being depressed. That was oddly a false accusation; there was no remorse in depression lingering in the girl. She felt no sadness, she felt nothing. "I am not sad." The small girl explained, her monotone voice escaping lips. "I am nothing." There was not a better word to explain her state of mind. When it came to emotions she was dead.

Her dark eyes continued to look towards the boy, her lips giving him no more of a response. His first two statements didn't deserve a reply in her own opinion. She only used words when she felt it necessary, otherwise she continued to be the silent bringer of horror.

Shouhei nodded slowly and let out a small blush as he sat up a little more smiling wryly. "A-ar' yu sure?" he asked with rather worried eyes. His smile grew more "warmly" as he reached out to attempt to touch her skin. Her almost seemingly cold, dead skin in curiousity before drawing his hand back after feeling her rather dangerous aura.

"Ar' yu a suden?(Student)" he asked tilting his head curiously.

[morning after]

Back to sitting motionlessly on the couch, Lily hadn't gotten a single wink of sleep the night before. Sleep was something the girl had stopped needed a long time ago. Though she had pretended she had gone to bed the previous night so that she could escape the annoying questions of her roommate. When asked if she was a student she had simply stood to her feet and walked away. Yet again she had found him not worth her words, they were too precious for him, but for some reason she was stuck being around him.

Sighing, the child looked down at the mirror that she had set upon the coffee table in front of her. All night she had gazed at the small hand held mirror, waiting for Alina to give her something to do, but Alina never showed. That only meant she was stuck in the dorm, with the stupid little kid.

[Sorry I didn't post. I thought I had XD and then I forgot D:]

Shouhei frowned sadly as she simply walked away after he asked her a question and stood up making his way towards the bedroom as he sat down on the bed. "Gud nite..." he said softly before laying down on the bed with some tears in his eyes.

Everyone I seem to know hates me.. he thought to himself shaking his head slowly to get the thought away from his head. No, maybe they are just in a bad mood! he thought optimistically nodding to himself as he felt sleep overcome him.

"J-jut..a wittle, sad.." he murmured softly as he drifted off into a deep sleep.

[Next Morning]

Waking up and sitting upright Shouhei rubbed his eyes his hair slightly messy remembering the events from before and a rather hazy dream he couldn't seem to remember last night. Getting out of the bed he left the bedroom and waved at Lily "Gud mornin' " he said happily before making his way into the bathroom to wash his face and brush his teeth before making his way back to the chair he once sat on.

"A mirror?" he asked curiously tilting his head.

The perkiness of the boy made the creepy child wish to stab either him or herself repeatedly in the face. Happy people were not her forte in the slightest. The only thing that caused her to not end the life of every last Alliance member was that she could at least tolerate them, that and that she would hate to disappoint her precious master. To her, the words of Alina were sacred, hence the small mirror that rested before her on the table. When the boy questioned about the mirror she couldn't help but flash a look at him that seemingly showed anger, or some emotion along those lines. No matter what the emotion was, it was at least surprising that the girl had been provoked to allow her mask of nothing to disappear for a moment.

"What else do you think it is?" Her words were strangely sarcastic, but the boy had hit a sensitive topic for her.

Alina.

Shouhei jumped a little at the girls harsh reply feeling hurt. Biting his lower lip for several seconds he stopped after several seconds and smiled tilting his head slightly.

"Sowwy.." he said softly looking down at the ground unsure of what to say. His hair was covering his eyes and tears began to burn them but his incredible will power kept him from breaking down.

Smiling he stood up and walked into the bathroom waving weakly before sitting down on the toilet lid unsure of what to do. Unable to socialize with anyone he knew he felt scared deep down like a lost child.

Sensitive people were weak, or weak people were sensitive. Both ways of phrasing got across the same point, which was what Lily felt. The boy who had been standing before her only proved such a fact. He was incredibly weak and allowed his emotions to control him. If only he knew how one could live in pure bliss without the hindrance of emotions pulling them down; that's how Lily lived and no one could stop her. For her life was meaningless, and she found no reason to fake emotion in attempt to give it meaning, especially for her roommate. He wasn't even worth her words let alone any emotion. She might as well leave him be so that he could go and run off with people like him. Besides, she had to concern herself with her class plan for the following day.

Standing to her feet, the small child glanced back to where the boy had run off to. He'd come out eventually only to find her absent. Not that she cared. She made her way to the door silently, opening it slowly and walking out of the dorm room. Where she was headed not even she knew.

Shouhei eventually snapped back into reality, standing up, he opened the door only to find his roommate missing, a big dissapointment. Walking back into the lounge he looked at the mirror that she seemed to hold with great security.

Blinking, but not touching he simply looked into the mirror which was rather blank and chuckled as he stood up. " 'M must no't tuch the miwwor" he said to himself before walking towards the entrance of the dorm.

Opening it he left the dorms and gently closed the door to go out into the hallways unsure of what to do next.
