 Isoke was completely alone for the first time in a long time. Belial was moving on though he promised to keep in touch. The little sister though now felt like she was in the way. With her brother planning on making a home with Ren, Isoke was avoiding the dens and other spots she had been using as resting places in the territory the adopted siblings had been calling home for almost a year now. "There all nice places, I'm sure she'll like one of them," she had told Bel when they had talked everything over. He had argued off course against her leaving but Isoke felt it was much easier this way.
"I'll stop by and visit but I should be finding my own way now big brother."
Lost in her memories for a moment the reindeer ulaya wasn't as aware of her surroundings as she should have been. A sudden dip in the terrain had her tripping over her own feet and she slid a bit before regaining her footing, thankfully before she crashed into some brambles. With a frighten whimper she sat down to catch her breath from the fright of her near accident.

 The male bent his head toward a tree, scratching large antlers against the bark. The ulaya hadn't seen another in a while, and sighed at the thought. Blitzen loved the company of others, curl up and tell each other stories or go for long walks. But lately, he had been wandering by himself, and surprisingly not run into any body at all.
Just as the thought entered his mind, Blitzen's grey eyes caught something stumble in the corner of his vision. Turning around, he stood tall and elegant and walked forward. Blitzen's front feet weren't paws like most ulaya, they were hooves like those on deer. Then again, he thought, it was suitable since he resembled one of Santa's flying reindeer.
As Blitzen neared closer to where he saw the movement, a set of slender antlers came into view. These antlers were attached to a beautiful ulaya with a coat in brown shades. He heard a soft whimper from her and tilted his head slightly before trotting down to her. " Excuse me miss? Are you okay?"

Isoke scrambled to stand as she heard someone approach behind her. Even as he spoke, she stared wide-eyed at the ulaya that approached. When she realized she was staring she looked away quickly ducking her head. She resisted her selfconcious urge to rub the base of her antlers. A nervous habit that once realized she had to fight to control. "Oh I'm sorry... I... I'm fine ... slipped down here and scared myself," she finally managed stuttering her reply while inside she was jumping up in down with excitment. He has antlers too! And he's so handsome. Are those hooves?
Shyly she looked up again and smiled. "I.. I've never seen another ulaya with antlers before. I'm Isoke.," she said a little steadier and more her friendly self.

Blitzen tilted his head slightly. What was she staring at? Of course, being stared at was nothing new to the ulaya and he had grown accustom to it. After all, he did have lots about him that was different, such as his front legs ended in hooves instead of paws, his body was decorated with a Christmas-themed halter, his tail was that of a reindeer and lastly his horns. The biggest attraction of them all, his horns towered above his head like the crown of a young prince.
Blizten looked down at the young lady, his grey eyes seemed to take her without giving the impress he was staring. Perhaps he wasn't so different. After all this young female had a few attributes just like himself. A small, rather cute tail, and antlers. Though not as large as his, but not that Blitzen cared. Her antlers suited her, and his suited him.
Realizing that he was lost in thought when she spoke, the large buck cleared his throat and bowed deeply to her. " My name is Blitzen. I have to say, neither have I met a ulaya with antlers. Your name is a lovely one, Isoke." He had a deep, booming voice and a gentle, calming smile. With careful steps he walked down the dip to meet her, never loosing his graceful stance.

"Th..thank you," she replied to the compliment. Isoke felt nervous and fluttery, the male's very voice made her want to purr. She'd never reacted to another ulaya this way before, it was... odd but it a pleasant sort of way. She trotted forward to meet him halfway. "Sorry you must think me very silly," she managed to say. "I recently parted from a friend and was thinking about where to go from here. Its been a long while since I've been completely on my own." She felt the need to explain herself, to show this graceful and handsome creature that she wasn't a complete clumsy airhead.

He chuckled softly and nodded. " It's alright. He chuckled softly and shook his head abit. Belive it or not, I've done that myself a few times. Perhaps, if you have no objection, I could give you some company? I travel alone myself, it's always good to have another to keep you comapny." He smiled at her, his grey eyes kept flicking over her, taking in her features.
Blitzen blinked, he felt an odd feeling of his face burn and if he could the red of a blush would have glowed right through. She was beautiful, and he had encountered other beautiful ulayas on his travels but he had never felt anything like this before. His mind was rushing to think of a beautiful location to take her too, where would she like? Did she like rivers? Meadows? Lakes? Butterflies?Waterfalls...? Blitzen's eyes went unfocused for a moment as he looked past her thinking of the locations he knew of.

Isoke let a slight purr slip out as she replied, "I'd really like that." She stretched to make sure she was fully ok from her slip and slide. "Do you live in the area or are you just passing through? Belial and I mostly wandered but had a few places we'd stay that we knew were hidden and safe." She ducked her head for a thoughtful moment before continuing. "He and a friend need some time to themselves so I decided it was time I moved on, at least for a little while... He'll miss his sister eventually I'm sure."
She looked up and around curiously. "So where shall we go?" she asked with a grin.

Blitzen smiled, she had family..He had always wondered what that would be like. He had always been a loner, without a family. The reindeer had always wanted a sibling, someone to either look up to or give life directions to. Perhaps one day he would have a family of his own, and Blitzen swore that, unlike his own parents, he wouldn't leave them.
" So..you have a brother? Any other family?" He started to take steps forward, softly tilting his head in a 'follow me' gesture his antlers pointing in the direction they would be heading. " I've passed through here a few times. I have no real 'living' area, no one to settle this old ulaya down yet I guess. Until then, I suppose I'll just keep moving around. Meet more that way." He laughed softly, looking over his shoulder at Isoke. He had to turn away again, his face was burning with a deep blush that he was sure was showing right through the white patch on his nose. It was a good thing he wasn't like Rudolph; he would have blinded her with his nose.

Isoke was content to follow. "Well we're not really related we just kinda chose to travel together and became close; and call each other brother and sister. He's different as well. His eyes have slit pupils and he has a long spaded tail." She laughed a bit, "He sounds rather evil looking but really his only fault is being very vain in his differences. I don't really remember my real family at all. bel and I guess now his mate Ren are my only family."
"I've met a few other ulaya some I'd even call friends, but one found a mate and had family and others just kind of move in and out of my life. perhaps I'll see them again." She noticed him turning away... was that a blush, she thought curiously. This whole situation was something new. She hadn't felt a similiar connection since the storm she's spent holed up with Sori; she hoped he and his family were well.
