This game is just crazy. It's not your typical RTS. This RTS will literally let you zoom in and out of the map, so you can see the theater of war. It's not about small battles. And with the Strategic zoom, Gas-powered games was able to put Large, Massive, Powerful experimental units which can quickly turn the tide of the war.

I honestly couldn't find a RTS that lets you zoom all the way out and on top of that change your strategy every time. There's more than 1 strategy to play Supreme Commander. And I never seen a game where you send 6 nukes all at once and control where they go. And I even haven't seen a RTS that supports dual monitor.

Supreme Commander has a massive amount of variety, tactics and methods in which to win the game.

The game also got Game of Year. Not recently but 2 years ago the game got Best of E3 2006, Gamespot Editor Choice award, Gamespy Best of E3 2006, 1UP best of E3, Gametrailers Best of 2006 award winner,Ign best of E3 2006, and another award for E3 2006. And that was all on the original first game.

Now my computer can play SupCom and the game is *drools* and that's just a 8600GT.

my computer is missing ONE thing to be able to play SupCom...
it needs a 1.8Ghz Possessor, i only have 1.3 crying

The game itself is pretty demanding. I suggest getting a 9800GT not a 9600GT. You'll still need a good CPU...I suggest the Q9800 or the AMD Phenon 9950 2.6 GHz Cpu. It's more of a CPU heavy game than GPU.
