Long ago, those of our world refused to admit the existange of magic, of angel and demons, and of anything they couldn't explain. Then, something happened that forced them to admit the truth.

A long time ago, demons and angels of all sorts roamed the earth, in the shadows or in the light under disguises. They pretended to be humans, fell in love, and had children. Those children looked purely human, and went on with their lives. Most were never told the truth. That was over 500 years ago. Then, in the year 199X, about 50 years ago, those genes began showing up. Unfortunaly, having been mixed without anyones knowing, the genes were not for their origional creature. Instead, a new species was created. No two ever had the exact same abilities or features, not even the twins. The powers went from control over the elements to shapeshifting to telepathy.

Of course, not all babies born were like that. In fact, less than 10% were. But that was enough to set the ball rolling, so to speak.

At first, the government attempted a cover-up. Of course, that failed. Then, they decided only one thing could be done. The new creatures must be removed from society. Thus, then came the creation of the 'lost boarding schools'. They were created on islands far from any contenents, and no human ever comes back alive. Or, so they say.

This is a story that takes place in the year 20XX, in one of those "lost" schools. This is the truth, the battle between their human and creature sides, and the horrors, and wonders, of the place they lived.

Discription: She had short, blood colored hair and crystal blue eyes. She stands at about 5 feet 7 inches, and weighs barely ove 110 lb.
Personality: She is strong willed and rebelious, with no problems with fighting, yelling, debaiting and aruing, and no care about how much trouble she might get into.
Powers: She can control the 4 bace elements and is psycic

Discription: She has shirt red hair, only to her chin and pruple eyes. She is shorter than her twin by almost 5 inches, and weighs less then 110lb. She is big eyed and sweet looking, making for a perfect lolita girl.
Personality: The exact oposite of her twin, she is sweet and caring, a bit shy and a little clutzy.
Powers: She can shape shift into any animal, but can only be black, white and/or gray. She changes back into a human automaticaly when she falls asleep sometimes.
Weapons: She doesn't like fighting, but is actualy verry good at karate. She can use swords or a staff.
Pets: None, who needs a pet when they can be one?
Likes: Sweet foods, music, poetry, pandas and her twin.

Powers: She can shape shift into a white wolf, as well as talk to wolves and other canines.

Description: Chiyoko in Japanese means; "Child of thousand Generations." She was born in Heaven and placed on Earth, where in war she has a scar on her face. Her beauty is stunning but the scar on her neck makes people scared of her. She has Amnesia so she can't really remember any of her past. She wears a scarf on her neck, and her hair color is blue but she dies her hair a lot, she also has 2 different eye colors, left eye is blue, right eye is red. But she usually wears colored contacts. Her nicknames are Kiyoko (her middle name,) Cazzie (Her english name.)
Personality: Bi-polar, Sweet, Silent.
Powers: Mind control, Shape-shifting.

A girl with shoulder leignth, blood red hair yawned quietly, nearly falling off her bed. She could hear her sister already clattering around the dorm, making tea with their cofee maker. Lexi grumbled, but was to tired to fight with her sister about it. She just wasn't fond of tea in her coffee. They were good apart, but never together.

"Come on, Lexi-chan! Get up!" Came her sisters rather bubbly voice. The other had been up for a while now.

"Why should I? Classes don't start for another week!" Grumbled Alexis back, burrying her face in her pillow.

"So what?" asked her sister. "Are you gonna sleep all day?"

"I might."

The shorter red haired teen huffed. "No, you won't. Because then you'll be up all night, and ruin your sleeping habits." She checked a nearby clock before adding "Besides , it's already 8:23!"

"Already! Kayden, let me sleep till 9:00 at least!"

"No way! You'll never wake up for classes if you keep this up!" Lexi sighed, rolling over onto her back, then sitting up. She glanced over at her twin, sighing. The other was already up and dressed in a white summer dress with purple ribbons that went well ith her eyes. There was a purple band in her hair with a white bow in it.

"Fine, I'm up." Lexi grumbled, standing slowly. She was wearing blue pjs with little broken hearts on them. She grabbed at towel and bath wash and shampoo and walked from the room, not bothering to put slippers on. The floor was hard wood, but not too cold.

She arrived at the bathroom quickly, glancing around. The room was huge, with at least 15 round hot baths sunk into the floor. Eash could comfortably hold about 5 people. They were about 4 feet deep, with a ledge around the edges where you could sit down in the water.

Alexis threw off her clothes and put them in a hamper labled room 232. Deciding to do things the asian way, Alexis drew up one of the stool that sat on the edges of the room near a pool and a bucket as well. She washed and rinsed her body and hair. Then, she slipped into the pool to relax for a little while.

Meanwhile, Kayden had finished her tea, cleaned the room and made the bed, then had set out to the court year, known as the oval, and started sketching. 'I wonder when the new kids will start showing up.' She thought. It was already her's and her sisters second year. Their birthday was in less than a month. Then, they would be 16.

Every year, new kids were brought over from othe islands that served as orfanidges until the kids turned 10. Then, they were sent to an elementart island, then here. This year, though, another high school island had caught fire, and the forests and school had been demolished. A boat had picked most of the students and teachers up, and some were going to come to this school this year.

Hmmm, now what was today? A young girl was standing several feet away from the school. She looked around to see that everyone else was heading through the front, leaving only her behind. She wore a clueless look on her face as she caressed the pocket, that held her favorite knife, on her hip. Oh, right! Today's my first day of school, duh! Mira clonked herself in the head, before treading behind everyone into her new school.

As she stepped into the school, she stopped seconds before realizing:Where the hell do I go!? This was her first time in the school, and now was her time to truly feel lost. She placed her finger by her lip and then pushed up her sunglasses. The swelling trail of lost filled calmly, as she began walking around the school aimlessly.

Mechal sighed lightly, streatching more in the manner of a cat then a wolf as she prepared to leave the boat. Most of her things had benn burned in the fire, so all she had was an extra outfit, the school uniform, which consister of a black and plaid gray skirt, a white blouse, a black and gray striped tie, and a black jacket, a few accessories she had been wearing when she had run from the fire and some bandages she had left over from what they had giver her to bandge her few wounds. She was lucky, she only had a large but not bad burn on the back of her right hand and her once long hair had been singed off, so she had had to get it cut short. Her old dorm mate, Emmah, was not so lucky. Mechal had lonst some skin and hair, while Emmah lost her life.

Grabbing her backpack in her teeth, she managed to swing it onto her back without changing forms and trotted off the boat. She wobbled slightly, feeling as though the ground was rocking beneath her, having not yet regained her land legs. The boat had taken almost a full day.

Glancing up at the noon sky, Macal muttered to her self in wolfish '425, room 425.' Her dorm room, of course. Then, she trotted into the school, quickly finding her dorm room. There were two beds. But, who would be her new dorm mate?

"Call meh Lexi!" Alexis said, shaking the others hand. "Well if your lost, why don't I give you a tour? Well, after I change, of course! Follow me, my dorms this way!" She gave the other no room to argue as she walked to her dorm. She flung the door opn. "Well, here we are, room 436!" She walked in, digging through her dresser for some clothes, then going behind a chinese screen to change.

She came out wearing a boat necked black shirt with a blue, pink and purple rainbow on the front, black fishnet, fingerless gloves that went to her elbows, a black skirt with blue, purple and pink lace on the bottom and fishnet leggings. She pulled on black pumps and some pink, blue and purple star earings, and then turned. "Okay, ready!" She grinned. "First things first, what is your dorm number?"

At that moment, Kayden walked in, her notebook in her hands and black smudges on her cheek. "Oh, Alexis? Who's this?"

"Mira. She was lost, so I brought her here before I take her on a tour."

"Why bring here here first?...Waaait...." Kaydens eyelids lowered slightly. "You were walking around in a towel again?" Lexi blushed and rubben the beck of her neck. Kayden shook her head, picking up a cloth and wiping the black smudge from her cheek. "Baka Nee-chan...." She muttered, shaking her head. "Well, if it's a tour, I had better go along. Knowing you, you'll just tell her where all the good fights happen, and not where her classes are! If that's okay with you, of course!" Kayden addad, turning to Mira and bowing.

Everything happened so fast. From being pulled into Lexi's room, to waiting for her to change. Mira looked around the room, wondering how the girl, she had just met, lived. Since Mira had just moved to this school, she didn't have room to judge either way. She removed her sunglasses, making sure that no one was around, and began looking even more. This room does have a great 'flow' to it. I think I could stay here, maybe.

She stopped inspecting, when Lexi approached from behind, and put on her glasses. Before Mira could speak, she listened to her friend ask her what room she had. She reached into her pocket and found a paper, containing her schedule and information.

"Hmmm, well according to my paper,......uh.....I believe I'm stayin at room 425." she then jumped when she heard the door near her, open, and looked as another girl approach Lexi. The two spoke, in casual voices and it made her feel a little left out. At least, until Kayden spoke to her and bowed. Mira blushed and looked away from her.

"Well, if ya really want to...." Mira looked at Lexi, pushing up her sunglasses, and said brightly, "then I have no problem with it at all!" With that said, she bowed back, looked up, and then reached out for Kayden's hand. "I hope both you, Lexi, and I can be wonderful friends!"

Mechal remained fast alseep, unable to sence the people outside the door. She sighed in her sleep, body spread out over her covers, tail wrapped around her legs and ears perked up. Her mouth was open slightly, just enough for you to see her fangs. Muttering to herself, she slowly lifter her hand onto her pillow in her sleep, flexing it and her claws. She curled the hand next to her, curling up a tiny bit, and falling into a deeper sleep.
