Hello Guild.
People have often said that time is a creation of Man. This has never made much sense to me, never struck a chord.
When I look at 'Time', I see a word that helps us differentiate from one moment to the next, but I also see a descriptive word. To me it describes a fundamental rule in life... that it's constantly moving.
I have a question. Are all the colours of the rainbow a creation of Man?
I say no. Just because we've gave them a definition and know how to replicate them, they were here long before we came into existence, we just understand them. By these standards, I look at 'Time' and think that we understand it, can replicate the effects of it, create mechanisms to record fragments of it, but that doesn't make it ours. We're not the ones that put life into motion, so how can we take credit for it? What's worse is that we use this unfounded credit to hinder our progression, but that's obviously VERY debatable, unlike what I question now. At least it seems that way to me.
So my main question is this. To all the people that believe that Time is a creation of Man, I ask simply, how?

I agree. We labeled time, but before we labeled it, time was still moving. We did not create it, we just gave it name.

As far as I see it, time is relative, but not a man made concept.
Without time, then nothing would happen, everything would remain as it is with not change. That's basically how I view time.

That doesn't make sense to me either. Without man, time would still pass. It may be subject to the individual perceptions of man, but it's certainly not our creation.
