Eh I was board so I desided to post something of a new topic to get things rolling again...
It's a near split nwith me I love Japanese Tuners, two favorites are the RX-7 and Subie, but then again I can't walk away from the raw power of the Viper SRT10 or the Ford GT40

TIs a smart man, but in the racing world with all the aftermarket parts, and stuff, crap is lost out to better crap..... I've even seen a Jetta run smooth with some aftermarket parts....

Zack Nakazora TIs a smart man, but in the racing world with all the aftermarket parts, and stuff, crap is lost out to better crap..... I've even seen a Jetta run smooth with some aftermarket parts.... Every class of autos will have some awesome, throw you back into your seat kind of car, and then the same class can produce a flop. Just like with manufactures like Ford. They have the GT40 on the top of their list, but they also have the probe. Me I like the style of the tuner. Second would be muscle. I don't even consider exotics in the same league. I like when you can take a $20,000 and turn it into a 9 second car. Exotics come like that. There isn't any work involved. Its just a car for rich folks who like to drive fast.

I Like cars out of all the categories, but my favorite is easily the good old muscle. My favorite cars would have to be some Aussie muscle like the XY GT Phase 3 or the XU-1 Torana, But from America I'd say maybe a Barracuda or a Challenger.
But away from muscle I do like some tuners and exotics. For tuners I'd have to say my favorite's would be the 300zx or an S14. As for exotics my favorites would be Lamborghini Countach or a Corvette Z06.

I really prefer the exotic marques not for their instant gratification style of speed but that they're ultra competitive on the track, in the end, it all gets settled on a track. One good run at the "Ring" and you pretty much separate the boys from the engineers and you really gotta give it up for the engineers, they work hard for the best results on race day.

But with touring races its not all about the exotics. There are many classes in which to be in. Thats what makes it good. Cause you don't have to be the fastest, just the fastest in your class.

I know the classes are separated but the point I'm making is that exotic cars get alot of attention to detail and engineering so usually end up at the high tiers.

They almost have to have all that attention. Cars like Aston Martin, Audi, BMW... are engineered to drive on the autobahn and other highways with high speed limits.

I'd rather take them for a test on the Nurburgring Nordschleife where they really shine smile though I have to say, those roads are so bumpy when you're trying to maintain high speeds :0 and that straight makes me nervous going only 160mph I really want to open it up all the way but I feel as though I'm going to go flying.

The only place that there isn't a speed limit in America is the Salt Flats and Death Valley.

Lord Mar The only place that there isn't a speed limit in America is the Salt Flats and Death Valley. Yeah that's unfortunate when you want a good high speed track day in the U.S. and spending money to get to serious tracks urks me to be honest but if it's on my dad then I'll always tag along.

It's a split between Japanse and American with me. I love the shear torque that my LS1 makes, the deep "I'm going to eat your children" sound and the gut wrenching acceleration. On the other hand, I also love the way my Civic drives. I love the steetableness of it in the city (something my Camaro doesn't do so well at anymore) and I love the physical size of it compared to my Camaro. But most of all, I love the gas milage. 33city/47hwy vs 16city/28 hwy is a lot more gentle on my checkbook.
