The first Gym Leader, Falkner, who specializes in Flying-type Pokémon, is located here. Within Violet City is the Sprout Tower, an ancient monument which houses several sages and mediums who appear to revere the Pokémon Bellsprout as a teacher.

((after walking from new bark town and cherrygrove city maria was tired so she stopped at the pokemon center))
"May i see your pokemon?" nurse joy asked
((hands nurse joy her pokemon))
*the machine heals maria's pokemon*
"Thnak you for witing here are your pokemon" nurse joy said *hands maria back her pokemon*
((maria walks out and heads to the sprout tower to train a little))
"wow this is a long tower" maria told herself
((after catching a gastly and a rattata she went back to the pokemon center to heal her pokemon up then went back to the tower))
" we made it" maria said (as she got to the top she saw Keven defeating the elder))
"without respect for your pokrmon you will never be a master" he told keven
"Be quit old man" he told the elder
((looks behind him and sees maria))
"Oh! Maria you canme to challange this old man he is weak" he told her *uses escape rope*
*walks over to the wall next to the elder and picks up the escape rope*
"let me see if you are worth the hm" the elder said

beyleef use razor lieaf
*not very effcateve*

*takes a little damage*
use tackle to finsh this up
*knocks out bellsprout*
Elder Li is about to send out bellsprout do you want to switch pokemon? no

elder li is about to send out hoothoot do you want to switch out pokemon? no
hoothoot go
beyleef use razor leaf *knocks out hoothoot*
*gets $1200 for winning*
"well you do have respect for your pokemon you get this" the elder said *hands over the HM 05 flash* "you can't use this untill you have the badge from Violet City" he also tod her *uses the escape rope to teleport to the frount of the tower and goes to the pokemon center to rest up for her up and comming battle*
